Personally, I haven't had too....but I did see one woman chicken out using the excuse she was in heels so she wasn't fighting. I wonder how she felt afterwards knowing the truth.

Anne Hurricane chickened out of a submssions match with full slapping Vs Antscha from DWW in Paris days before the shoot. Antscha flew in for the match and was waiting. Anne's excuse was that the mat space could not be booked from athena2.net, when contacted athena said that Anne's story was bullshit and the mat space was ready and open for the match for far less money then what Anne was getting to shoot. Antscha said Anne E-mailed her and asked to fix the match for her to win, Antscha said No and thinks that is why Anne backed out. In the months leading up to the match Anne lost to top fighters Xana, and quit a match early Vs Robin when 9-0, I think she knew that she no longer could hang Vs top fighters anymore. After word spread about her cowardly no show Vs Antscha, Anne retired from the sport and has not been heard from since. True Story

Very interesting, it's neat to hear of some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes like that.

I think it's BS to call it chickening out. I don't mind that my guy likes to see me struggle against women who are stronger than me but some have just looked too dangerous and mean for me to be willing to fight them.

I agree with Candi. It takes more guts to walk away from certain situations than it does to stand and get the shit beat out of you. I've won my share of uphill battles but I know my limits.

That's ok, don't feel bad. You have every right to be jealous.

"I think it's BS to call it chickening out"...so what do you call it then? bravery, fighting for honor, principle?

I accidentally sprayed myself with pepper spray to keep two drunk women from jumping me in a bar once. My partner arrested both of them without incident because they were laughing so hard. Does that count?

I guess it does, though could be argued was for safety too maybe.

Several years ago, while in a club, I had made some comments about another girl who was taking an extra long time in the ladies room. Her freinds told her and she asked me to step into the ladies room to discuss it, but I declined since I figured I would also have to contend with her 3 girlfreinds.

Dee that seems sensible, however if you could have guaranteed just one on one would you have stepped into the ladies room to fight there and then
