The “O’s”: Awards for the very best in erotic wrestling in 2011. There are only 2 awards, as Best Fight and Best Fighter are the only categories that really matter.


Best Fight:
    Nominees:
1)   Juliana vs. Sarah, Foxy Combat: It begins with one of the best ever staredowns in FC’s long history of great staredowns. It ends with the most sublime of breast smothers from the possessor of the most sublime weapons-grade breasts active today.

2)   Mary-Ann Vs. Luna (wet, nude, outdoor catfight) DWW. One of GR’s wonderful “wet” matches (BTW, this technique , the wetting of the mat rather than the oiling of the wrestlers,  has been used before, by Sweetheart Productions using Lisa/Jan MacKenzie, to great effect). They fight hard, and whether she is winning or losing, its all about Mary-Ann, and she delivers.

3)   Eva N. Vs. Pia  (wet, nude indoor catfight) DWW. In Gr’s world, a catfight means hair pulling. In the wrong hands, hair pulling can really fuck up the action. With GR and especially Eva, it acts as a spice to somehow slow things down while insanely ratcheting up and prolonging the intensity.The moans in a fight like this bring to mind the Maria Callas of moaning, the Meistermoaner of Prague, the much-lamented Pettula of DWW.

4)   Tia Ling Vs. Jasmine, Academy. A trilogy: pick either fight #1 or #3.This shows what Tia can do when not shackled by  a shitty producer. A special nod to Jasmine, not a favorite here, for providing a foil that brought out the best in Tia. Also a great example of the  greatness of Bruce’s system in the hands of the right performers.

The Winner: Eva N. vs Pia DWW.


Best Fighter:

    Nominees:
1)   Juliana, FC: Brings more eroticism to a fight by simply staring than just about anyone else can bring by any means. Insanely, Adrianna Lima-hot.

2)   Nicky Thorne, Nude Fight Club: Hot, energetic, strong and creatively depraved.

3)   Mary-Ann, DWW: Fights hard, looks great doing so. I’d pay to watch her fight a traffic ticket.

4)   Eva N.. DWW: was something to see before, as GR once put it, she was “no longer alone in her body.” Since childbirth, with the addition of some welcome pounds and curves, she fights with insane intensity. The “wet” matches, and the problems they impose vis a vis holding on to one’s opponent turning the matches into tests of will as well as skill, seem designed for her.

5)   Kathy Heaven, Sexyfightingzone:A glimpse into the future, maybe. A serious armor of muscle to this girl, but the overall impression is of fitness rather than body builder. Kind of similar to Charlene Rink, in that they were both fit as hell and loved to sweat. But she wrestles with eroticism and sexuality left explored by Ms. Rink.


The Winner: a clean sweep for Eva N.

Haven't seen any of those vids.  I do like the wet mat matches, such as Movies 423 with Patricia and Lucille.  It adds that extra sexy glisten and definition to the bodies, while still allowing enough friction for wrestling rather than slipping and sliding pointlessly all over the place, as is typical with oil.

Juliana: so beautiful, so misused.  Fighting, especially FC's version, hardens her.  I think Juliana needs to be softened, as in a nice Viv Thomas girl kissing vid.

Come now, certainly there can be some more "O"'s to be given out. Maybe newcomer of the year. Foxycombat's Melissa would win for for sure though Kim Ly certainly made impression on a few. Or how about producer of the year? DWW was having a great year up until the half year mark when it seemed mysteriously stop releasing new material. The academy doesn't stop at just giving Best Actor Best Picture does it.

I can definitely attest for the 2nd and 3rd nominations. they were fantastic.  But, as all things, it's a matter of taste.
