This survey is inspired by Barbosa's matchup of Brigitte Bardot versus Raquel Welch.  Anita Ekberg and Jayne Mansfield are both amply endowed and it should provide outstanding contests.  The matchups occur in 1958.

Ekberg was born on September 29. 1931, stands 5' 7", weighs 128 lbs, measures 40-23-37 and wears a size 8 shoe.
Mansfield was born on April 19, 1933, stands 5' 5 1/2', weighs 118 lbs, measures 40-22-35 1/2 and wears a size 7 shoe

As far as I am concerned this was the Golden Era! In fairness to all the present day beauties that has more to do with my age then anything about them. Probably has to do with the hormones racing through a teenager's or young adult's body.

Yes Anita did defeat Jayne in my 1950s tournament but it was very close by only one vote 40 to 48. Anita finished in 3rd place and Jayne finished in 7th much to the consternation of barbosa.

As far as this poll goes there are more categories. In my opinion Anita is much bigger and stronger than Jayne. Even if you give Jayne more credit for fighting than barbosa does she would be handled easily by tough Anita. Anita would win the catfight and the arm-wrestling match even more easily. As far as the boobs go, Anita had a very nice pair and Jayne's were definitely larger. To me Anita's had a sexier shape and were firmer so her boobs would mash the larger ones of Jayne. Finally the beauty contest is a matter of taste pure and simple. I liked Anita's face better than Jayne's. Jayne had the better overall figure, not only that famous chest but a very, very tiny waist to produce a glorious hour glass figure. Legs and arms were no contest. Jayne suffers from the same thing that I think Raquel Welch did, arms and legs too skinny. Even working out with her boyfriend did not seem to produce good muscle definition or enough meat on them. Anita had larger, more solid, and shapelier arms and legs that are more to my liken. So Anita wins the beauty contest over all. Oh yes, I liked Anita's more golden colored hair than Jayne's too platinum locks.

  This is a great fight between the two ultimate blond bombshells of this period. A European against an American, big-boobed movie stars, in the age of no-plastic. But if this catfight had happened irl, wouldn’t be just a one-sided fight but a crime…
 
  Although Jayne’s fighting ability is a war (many victims…) between me and Glamour Fights, I must admit that I totally agree with his opinion, almost word by word. At least his analyses are always top.

  Usual we wondered what would happen irl fights between the celebrities. Here we have the answer. Both had real catfights. Jayne Mansfield KO'd by a Latina dancer in a nightclub and the 40 yo Spanish woman pull the screaming and pleading Jayne by the hair as two men try to stop her. From the other side Anita rumored that had ko a young starlet in a party.

  So no question about the catfight. The tough, x-athlete, ice Swedish would kill the weak Jayne. I think that the fight will keep as Anita wants. She tortures her victim from the first seconds. It’s so easy to do all the painful grips. Bearhug, surfboard, bow and arrow… maybe and a backbreaker for the finish. But if Mansfield is lucky there is not catfight. In armwrestling Anita will break her hand and the match is over.

  As for the titfight, Jayne’s boost was the most famous in the world for her size, so many members vote for her. But I think that if Jayne challenged Anita, this would be the worst surprise of her life and bigger humiliation than the beating by the dancer. Jayne’s pair is bigger (I think…), but Anita’s is not only firmer and more masive, but a torpedo’s pair. Just look the nude photo’s above. When these xx-large natural pairs smashed, the melons of poor Jayne flattened and drilled by the drills-nipples of angry Swedish. What a nightmare for the top pair of boobs in movie-history!!! I think that at this contest, Anita hasn’t opponent. Sophia Loren has equal big pair but not so firm and massive, like the blond. Raquel Welch has equal massive and firm, but not so big like Anita’s and not these drills-nipples. Anita is the ultimate queen of titfight.

         
  Finally as for the beauty contest, I totally disagree with my buddy GF. Jayne is prettier, hotter and sexier. Personal I find her face prettier and sweeter. Anita’s body is like wrestler’s, beside Jayne’s voluptuous silhouette. So my vote to Jayne.

  Both had catfights in their movies. Unfortunately I found only the trailers, but there are scenes of them. Classics wet catfights.

I appreciate people voting and participating in this survey.  The comments of glamour fights and barbosa are very interesting and I mostly agree with them.  I have a couple of additional items to add.

Simguy posted a retro boxing match between Ekberg and Mansfield in 1999 that was set in the late 1950's.  Anita won with a fourth round KO of Jayne.

As to bosom size, both women look massive to me.  An authority on this subject, Russ Meyer, once stated that Ekberg was better endowed than either Mansfield or Sabrina, even though both ladies claimed a larger measurement.  Meyer stated that Mansfield's larger measurement was do to a large rib cage and her breasts were smaller than Anita's.

  Although I prefer more the wrestling than the boxing between females, I admit that with two so large pairs of boobs, it’s so good.
