What happens to stories i put in preview???

Okay I tried to write a story, put it in preview so i could come back to it... but now I cannot find it... How can I write a story , go back and edit it and then post it on this website??

For me , I basicly write my story & save it & let it go to the forum .

After that , I click on the story & let it load in & since you wrote it wrote it , there is a Modify Option that appears that you can use to change things .

Ever thought of writing the story in MS Word (or whatever office software you use) then copy and pasting it here?  Just a thought, but what do I know.....
