Wouldn't it be fun to see?  (Back in the day they were stars?)
        1) Ursula Andress (in her Dr No bikini) fight Raquel Welch (In her 1 Million B.C. outfit) in a no holds barred catfight
        2) Barbara Eden (In her I Dream of Genie outfit) fight Elizabeth Montgomery (in her short dress) go at it in a winner-strip all-catfight?
        3) Victoria Principal (Dallas) go at it with Joan Collins (Dynasty) or perhaps Linda Evans (Dynasty)

Hank you have some interesting thoughts, the first match watching Ursula taking on Raquel i definitely get aroused. As for the other two matches for me it would have to be Barbara taking on Victoria, of the two matches i don't know which one i would enjoy more.

I would also like to see Senta Berger (in her cavewoman outfit) take on Raquel Welch (in her cavewoman outfit). Both women were very competitive with each other in the late 60's and early 70's. Senta, the German/European  sex godess was often compared with Raquel in the States while Raquel was frequently compared with Senta in Europe. After 'One Million Years B.C.' proved such a success in the US and Europe, a number of Cavewoman movies were rushed to production with the likes of Julie Ege and Victoria Vetri. Finally, by popular demand, Senta Berger made her own Cavewoman movie (When Disasaurs Had Tails); it was a spoof of 1MM B.C. With measurements of 38-26-36 (1970), Senta filled out her fur bikini better than Raquel who was listed as being 37-23-36 when she made her movie in 1965-66. Regardless, it would have been quite a fight when these two lionesses tangled but I have the feeling that Senta would have given Raquel a little beatdown. Hopefully, they will be matched up soon during the 60's Sex Symbols Tournament; it will be interesting to see what others think. I would also like to see Senta going up against Anne-Margaret another young toughie of the time. Anne-Margaret was in the Dean Martin movie, 'Murderers Row' while Senta Berger was in the DM movie, 'The Ambushers.' Both were filmed at the same time on the same sound stage.  I am sure that both of these sex symbols would have crossed paths. Here, I think that Ann-Margaret would outfight Senta in a long drawn out fight. They may finally meet each other in the 1960 Sex Symbols Fighting Tournament on this board.

By the way, there is a Raquel vs. Ursala catfight on this board. Look back two pages to February 1st and you should see it.

As for the first match, I agree hank. This would be for me the top fight.

Here is an amazing story by Glamourfight…still the “uniforms” is as you want!

And, in that vein, how about this match-up ?

Well, mindcastle, one more time I really like your points of view and your analysis. With my agreements and disagreements, but this is the salt & pepper of discussion. Am still one, who also find the Senta Berger vs. Raquel Welch, a top one. Yes Senta was one of European answer to Raquel (in fact the Austrian answer. For me the German answer was Elke Somer), as Raquel was the American answer to Ursula or to Claudia Cardinale. But she was not at the same level with her American opponent awe like a star….  They had, in their youth, many similarities. Both with sweet face… (well I must admit maybe Senta’s little sweeter…)

  …both with hell-body…

Senta 1 year younger, 1 inch shorter and little heavier. As for their measurements, there are different views at the sites, but there were similar and both the meaning of 60s sex bomb... But, my disagreement is about “Senta filled out her fur bikini better than Raquel”. My personal opinion is that Raquel with her fur bikini is the sexier “thing” in movies ever. And I think the same for her breast. I am not sure that Senta’s was bigger (This would make Raquel feel humiliation in a face to face confrontation ….lol…), but it was the best point of Welsh body.

One more point I agree with you is about the catfight. Senta looks more athletic from Raquel, who has the most catfight scenes on movies, but never convinced me about her fighting skills. Yes I also believe that if this fight happened Berger would be the winner but not so easy. And I think that it would be better show, Raquel humiliated by Senta than the opposite. And of course am waiting too their fight in tournament. Maybe and a good story….

Some great pictures, barbosa. Senta Berger was not as well know in the U.S. as I believe Raquel was in Europe. A pity for Senta had a sultry quality about her. I didn't know about her until I saw her in a movie (don't remember it now) and sexiness made an immediate impact on me. My opinion is that Raquel had the better body, Senta the better legs and arms. Facial beauty is a tie for me as both had a different allure. A fight between them would have been one of the sexiest and erotic fights around in my opinion.

For those interested Senta and Raquel will meet in round 26. Ann-Margret and Raquel will meet in round 20. Ann-Margret and Senta will meet in round 22. Finally, Raquel and Elke will meet i the last round 31. All of these are great fights in my opinion.

As a side note, I saw an interview with Stella Stevens talking about Elvis Presley in which she starred with him in Girls, Girls, Girls. According to her Elvis came onto her but she rejected him which pissed him off and made him not like her. She claimed Mary Tyler Moore said she was the only female co-star to not sleep with Elvis but May was wrong as she didn't. Presumably both are saying that Ann-Margret, Raquel, and Ursula slept with him. Gives me an idea. Maybe sometime I should have a round robin tournament of all the women who were featured in his movies. The list of sexy women is pretty long.

Just a little antedote!

Back in 1969-1970, there was an article in a LA Tabloid (LA Daily News?) about a near conflict between Senta Berger and Raquel Welsh. Allegedly, they were attending a party given by Dean Martin. Words were exchanged and Berger lunged at Welch but was restrained by an LAPD detective who was working private security at the party. There was no phyiscal contact but there would have been had the off-duty cop not intervened. There was no account outlining the reasons for the exchange of unpleasantries but Raquel was the hot new sexpot at the time and her 'fame' might have gone to her head. She apparently was not an easy person to deal with and, I believe, that she may have been fired from one film because of her failure to cooperate. All the more reason for Senta Berger or Ann-Margaret to give her a tail-dusting when they finally meet at the 60's Tournament.

Back in the 'olden' days, there also was an article in the TV Guide magazine (of all places) indicating that Stephanie Powers and Linda Evans attended the same High School (Hollywood High, if I recall correctly). Apparently, while attending there, they got into an after school fight. They ended the article by simply stating: Advantage: Linda Evans. I have that article somewhere buried in my files.  I will have to dig it out some day and scan it in for everyone to see.

Of course, I have to learn how to post pictures to this forum before then.

By the way, Barbosa, thank you for the great pictures. Can't get enough of the old gals.  Saw some recent pictures of our favorite gals.  Raquel and Senta were looking pretty good for two old broads.  Ursula and Elke did not fair so well.

God dammed detective…. why always must be someone destroy the dream-fights… anyway Mindcastle, thanks one more time for your information. I think, yes Senta, would had the advantage against Raquel, as she had more building body from her. But an angry Welsh, maybe would had hopes against the Austrian bombshell. Somewhere in forum read about a catfight, that Raquel had with an unknown actress in backstage of a movie. Poor Raquel took a real bad beating, but you never know the reality. Of course I don’t know if Welsh was not an easy person to deal with, but I don’t remember something bad about her. She spoken about her real opponent awe (Ursula) with the better words and admitted that she was jealous about her. This is not so usual between the divas… and Fay Dunaway spoken well for Raquel after “The three musketeers”. And I agree that Ann, would had the upper hand against both, with her body control and her flexibly as a dancer, well maybe not with Senta, but you never know…

So ….waiting for the tournament

Stephanie Powers overpowered by Linda Evans. Sounds very normal if it happened…

Thanks for the picture, Patrick,

And, how about Linda Harrison, Julie Ege, Victoria Vetri, Ali Larter, Tanya Roberts only to mention a few of my favorite women in furs?  Barbara look very toned in the above picture.  I believe the Linda Harrison would give her a pretty good match.

You may want to copy the above link into your browser to see all of the above gals (and then some) in their fur bikinis.  A nice treat.

Oh, how could I EVER forget "Nova" ?

She and Bach would make for a GREAT match-up, say on a river bank...

Nice list (thanks for the link !), though I'm suprised to find Bach listed as low as #13 (maybe because "Caveman" was such flop, or because Bach's better known as a Bond girl ?)

One who's not on that list at all, is Bo Derek from that "Tarzan/Greystoke" movie. No, not "exactly" a cavewoman, but close (and hot !) enough, no ?

By the way, if I may (even if I can't, I will anyways ! LOL).

People interested in this vein of catfighting (cavewomen) might want to consider getting their hands on these...

http://www.californiawildcats.com/battleof.htm

http://www.californiawildcats.com/carnage1.htm

http://www.californiawildcats.com/carnage2.htm

I only have the third one, which is VERY good, but based on it and the other CW videos (pre sex-fight period !) that I've bought over the years, I'd say that it's a fair bet that the first two videos are pretty good as well !

Darn, another "how could I ever forget HER ?" one...

Vitina Marcus from "The lost world" (1960) !

She reprised basically the same role, with the same outfit, in a "Voyage to the bottom of the sea" episode a couple of years later.
