Is Nicole really stronger than the italian temper?
Interesting question. When I first saw this poll I thought no way can the slender Nicole stay with the full bodied Maria and I voted for Maria. Now here are the stats I found.
Nicole: DoB 20 June 1967 (41yo) 5’11 (180 cm) 120 lbs (54.4 kg) 34B-23-36
Maria: DoB 27 July 1969 (40yo) 5’10½ (159 cm) ? lbs ((? kg) 39CD-25½-35½
I haven’t found a listing for Maria’s weight but given that her body seems thicker (except for the hips?) than Nicole’s body she is probably heavier.
Most comparison pictures I have seen emphasize the upper body and certainly Maria’s chest is much bigger than Nicole’s as is her waist. Her rib cage may be bigger also although the “39 in” vs the “34 in” could be due to her much larger breasts. My point is that these pictures may Maria look much bigger (not taller) and stronger than Nicole. So I went looking for comparisons of biceps and legs. This is what I found:

While neither celebrity is going to be mistaken for a body builder or even a strong woman, I was surprised to see how skinny and lack of muscle definition that Maria’s arms and legs had. I had expected this for Nicole but rarely have I really seen Maria’s biceps or legs in photos presented. My conclusion is that the two women are fairly similar looking when it comes to their biceps and legs. If anything it looks like Nicole has a little better muscle definition particularly in her claves. My guess is that they are about equal in arm strength and than Nicole has the slightly stronger legs and this is important as a woman’s legs are usually her more powerful weapon.
I am no longer convinced that Maria would overpower and dominate Nicole. I think it would be a fairly even fight as far as strength goes. So the deciding factors are more likely to be temperament, fighting ability , and the confidence in winning. Common biases are that Italians are hot tempered and liking to fight more while Australians love their sports and ar more athletic. Such generalities are dangerous and often meaningless. I don’t know either woman’s real personality so I can’t judge there. In several photos I have seen Maria smoking. I don’t know if Nicole smokes or not but if she doesn’t I would guess she has more stamina. So now I think the edge goes to Nicole, contrary to my original thoughts.
