I know a lot of people like REAL fights, but I always prefer fantasy fights, artwork, and stories. In fantasy, everything goes and nobody really gets hurt. Femfights and mixed fights can be long, drawn out, humiliating affairs with clothes ripped, black eyes and bloody noses, and I don't have to worry about the ugly intrusion of reality.

How do others feel about this?

I much prefer fantasy and I think many do; real life fighting really Hurts; and in most places it's illegal (assault charges, etc). Catfight fantasy is a pleasurable "escape." From what I've seen with Cyber-fighting-yes, it's fake but depending on who's participating, descriptions are very realistic. I can see the attraction to that too.
When writing a catfight story, fantasy can take any direction.
When I look at catfight action, I prefer the grimaces, (facial expressions) to be real; some semblance of the blows or holds to be real but no bruises, blood, etc (fake or real).
This board shows that there's all kind of tastes, interests. The only thing I dislike are "too much" or "too graphic" descriptions of violence (like broken bones, near death experiences, etc).
BTW I think the moderators do an excellent job of running this board.
-------------
A side note: When one reads or writes Celebrity stories I think most picture the actress as she was or is in her prime. One dude posted comments that babes of "yesteryear" must be using canes and walkers. That had never occurred to me...that was way to realistic?! Ha!

I love real, sane rules, female vs female wrestling.  No punching, scratching, no eye poking or gauging.  The rules are agreed to by both female parties before the match.  No blood and guts, just sexy female body vs female body action.  The idea is more to humiliate the opponent, not hurt her.  So there are breast smothers, butt smothers, face sitting, foot smothers, scissor holds, and hand smothers.  Very sexy to watch and see which woman can dominate the other.  The loser suffers loss of some pride perhaps, but does not lose blood, hair or teeth.  So the reality of this type of fighting is more sensual and sexy, not grotesque, there is no disfigurement.  I LOVE TO WATCH THESE TYPES OF MATCHES!

I like real competitive Wrestling and Catfighting matches. I'm not a big fan of the old Crystal fist fight matches. I don't like to see a girl get hurt, only to see them really strugle till a real winner is crowned.
Not looking for blood and broken bones. Watching competitive models go at it for real is the best, since they are not out to hurt one another, but fight to win. DWW matches "not BSA" are type I like the most.

I have to agree, i think fantasy is great, i love the action, without having to have the concern or guilt that anyone is getting really hurt.

I agree with most of the responses, that the fights should be PLAUSIBLE fantasies (if that means anything), and that fantasies have to be tinged with reality to maintain their excitement. There are variations on this, eg, the great stories by GW that involve smaller women administering one-sided beatings to very large voluptuous opponents. I love GW's  stories, but my favorite fantasy women are normal sized and not particularly muscular, although I do love the fantasy of a smaller woman beating up a bigger one. I also agree that serious injury and death are not at all interesting to me.

I've had femfight and mixed fight fantasies for as long as I can remember, and I've been through many phases with it. When I was very young, I was confused and ashamed about it, thinking I was the only one in the world who felt this way. Then I found out I wasn't and that provided great comfort, but I still felt ashamed. I finally got to the point of realizing that I loved the fantasy more than the reality, and that I didn't want to see anyone really hurt, and that was like a big weight off my mind. It's one thing to place a real person in a fantasy fight, but a very different thing for them to be in a REAL fight, with everything that involves. When I came to the realization that it was the FANTASY that I really wanted, I finally reached a point of being at peace with it. I also started my collection of artwork and stories that reflected my fantasies.

There are many different flavors, including the type of fighting (wrestling, boxing, fist fighting, cat fighting), many different ideas about what the women should be wearing (bras and panties, naked, fully dressed, long dresses, etc), sizes of women, hair color, etc. But IMO the preference for fantasy vs reality is fundamental.

Good subject...... i practice a martial art , and although there are no all out fights , there can be some pretty heavy sparring. Its strange like all here my fantasy of Fvs F go back too way back in childhood......but when 2 women spar in training (most of the time your too busy yourself too know) it has absolutly no effect on me what so ever , or when i spar/train with a woman , same.

in fantasy there is no violence and the fight can be more attractive because there are not limits in the imagination of a person but...it's not real, in the real life the fights is real but also it can be disagreeable if the fight is not arranged, I don't know...both

Well..I just hate violence in real life.  I don't like to see two people - girls or guys - fighting and trying to hurt each other.  but i like to watch a wrestling match when it is obvious it is a sport and the two wrestler have respect for each other.
Then i certainly prefer fantasy and i love cyberfighting.

I've always fantasized about my wife Tracy getting into a fight with a woman I used to work with years ago. Tracy and Barbara are both 5'4", same built and are both Italian. I could picture them in blouses, skirts, and pantyhose and fighting at work. I also would have them at a company holiday party or meeting at a wedding with both of them in cocktail dresses and silky pantyhose. They would get into an arguement and then decide to take it outside and settle things like women.

Both fights I would have them rolling on the floor with their silky nylon clad legs wrapped around each other until finally one woman, my wife of course, would win. The fight ended because one woman gave up, no injuries to either woman.

Would I like to see my wife and Barbara fight in real life? No. There's no reason for them to fight since Barbara and I never dated. They met each other years ago and there was no rivalry between them. Even to this day I picture these 2 women ripping clothes, pulling hair, and legs rubbing together causing runs to form in their pantyhose.

I agree with all of the above - you have to remember that real life fights are over quite quickly and the "action" (if thats the right phrase") is not drawn out - the idea is to win as quickly as possible. But the above posts all agree that fantasy must involve a sense of reality as well, so its hard to draw the line sometimes. For me, pro wrestling had always had the right mix - I used to think it was real and was in awe when I realised that it was staged - great athleticism and great theater too! Its not easy acting, I can assure you - it takes great skill to sell and receive the moves. Then there is also the attire - catfighting doesnt do it for me, as much as I enjoy women in underwear, ripped nylons etc - there is something about the wrestling boots (in a one piece or a bikini - I dont care!) that is really naughty, as well as the fact thats its in a ring - surely no place for a woman! That adds to the excitement, the idea that you are witnessing something unusual that goes against the "norms" of female behaviour...does this make any sense?

I've always liked intensity, however there's a fine, but distinct line between intense and brutal.  While intensity is a turn-on, brutality is a turn-off.  At least for me.  Therefore I've always been a fan of things like movie catfights, where the action appears real, but you know that nobody is going to be harmed.  Wild, hairpulling, clothes tearing catfights like Marlene Dietrich and Una Merkel in Destry Rides Again set the standard in that category.  Same with roller derby fights, particularly from the old days (1950's and 60's).  The women in the Derby had no qualms about locking up, pulling hair and firing open fisted, pulled punches at each other.  The fights looked very real, but were all staged.  Also, there's something additionally exciting about these old fights being in black and white.  Or maybe, that's just me showing my age.  There were parts of the Crystal Video Magazine fights that I liked, because those fights were real and therefore very intense.  On the other hand, when I find myself wincing at some of the activity, I know that it's time to fast forward.  That's just my two cents.  Good question.
