After a long hiatus , WEW has returned under new management as the person who took over used to watch the old show but was disappointed with the ways things were done as WEW was both deemed " Women's Extreme Wrestling " & " Women's Erotic Wrestling " although their was nothing extreme about it & sporadic erotic moments .
This show's return would be made available only on monthly PPV & you could kiss goodbye to tons of advertising , needless music videos , & shows leaving the air with matches still in progress to go along with some of the other annoyances the new owner hated from it's previous existance .
Like most other fans as he was a fan himself still , he understood that their are alot of fans that DO WANT TO SEE THE BAD GIRLS WIN & like those folks , the WWE was mostly good girls winning except for the heel Bella twins who do their " ho hum boring " switcharoo rollups all the time & in Impact Wrestling , it's clear as Crystal that Velvet Sky , Miss Tessmacher , & Mickie James over the past 6 months have won way way way more matches than Gail KIm , Tara , & Madison Rayne , in fact , when was the last time Madison Rayne actually won a match since she lost her title & even watching matches in smaller Indy Feds , it's the same thing , good girls wins , bad girls lose & all the little kids are happy .
The new owner by no means wanted to be the bad girls win every time , but this good girls win 8.5 out of every 10 matches thing was older than the dinosaurs & believed that the wealth should be shared & it even showed when he went to a small Indy Show & the ladies champ , a good girl , was way way way , overmatched & her offense was laughable , but she still won over her much bigger , stronger , more experienced opponent , who for whatever reason , to show how dumb the promoters / matchmakers are when it comes to the ladies , actually had the bad girl challenger , yes challenger , hit her finisher on the champ 3 or 4 times during the match & go for the pin , but lift her up out of it before the 3 , " I'm sorry , I thought she was the challenger " & then after the match , after the precious good girl picks up the quick rollup victory , the heel turns into a sore sport & gives her finisher to the champ again & to show that yes , there are heel fans out , " one more time " is very vocal in the gym & she does it 1 more time & the fans want to see it happen again , yes , promoters , there are heel fans out there .
But this new WEW owner knew what fans wanted & was going to do things his way , both sides would share in the wins , but he would make sure that veterans got the respect they deserve as there was not an ice cubes chance in hell that a girl with a dozen or so matches under her belt was not going to defeat a woman who has been wrestling 12 years or more , which is also common place everywhere as well & when it came to the new WEW however , all but 1 of the wrestlers were all girls new to the sport as only Amanda Storm has returned as herself , so from there , it was up to the ladies themselves selected to display their talent at the training center & that would determine who got which character based on the new owners agenda & based on what feedback that trainer , Amanda Storm , also inputed when asked .
One thing that also did not change was the top good girls , GI Ho & Tai Killer Weed , but the owner this time was going to choose the best wrestlers for those roles as he also felt that the old ones while having the good characters , were not really good wrestlers at all , Tai wa snothing more than a little thing that got a push because she drank a bottle of booze heading to the ring & at times would run around without her top on while GI Ho , who had the size & strength , wrestled in slow motion & wrestled in a monotonous style & simply was not a great wrestler & her leg drop finisher was ultra lame , but the ladies he choose as GI Ho & Tai , were strong , powerful , & could wrestle damn good as he spent alot of time going through the list of girls who wanted to be WEW girls as he also took the " Herb Brooks 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team " philosophy of , wasn't looking for the best girls , just the right ones & once enough were ready or far enough along , he set up his PPV WEW debut , which was going to be a Tournament to crown a WEW Ladies Champion .
