While the Australian singer Jessica Newham (23), better known as Betty Who, has been the opening act for all of Katy Perry's (30) 'Prismatic World Tour' shows in Australia - that part of the tour taking place from November 7th to mid December 2014 - Katy couldn't help becoming increasingly aware of Betty's bitchy attitude and behaviour.

Betty soon made more demands regarding her backstage comfort than Katy herself, and when she even made it known that she wants a bigger cut of the tour profits than originally agreed on, Katy, talking to her in her dressing room which Betty had invaded finally lost her temper and told her: 'You know the contract you signed! Why didn't you negotiate those things beforehand? It's too late to be a diva about every shit now, Betty!'

6'2"tall Betty, her by now well known temper rising, steps up close to Katy, to smile at her menacingly and reply to her: 'There, there...Are you getting funny with me, little Katy? Do you really want to risk me lifting you up and putting you across my knees to give you a spanking?'

Katy, almost not believing that the Betty had just uttered those words, stares up at the towering blonde singer and eventually says, her voice hoarse with barely suppressed anger: 'Betty, you're an awkward blob of fat on elongated legs, and if you think you could scare me threatening me with physical violence you're even more stupid than I've been thinking all along!'

Betty, before Katy could even anticipate what was coming, drew her arm back and in the next second hit Katy's face, so hard that Katy stumbled backwards and crashed into the table with her makeup utensils.
For one moment, she was shocked at the power behind the slap from Betty, but then she quickly struggled to her feet, took a run at her opponent and kicked Betty into her pubic bone with all her force.
Betty, who had erroneously assumed the older and smaller girl to be intimidated, was unprepared for Katy's counterattack and now yelped in sudden mind numbing pain, bent over and clutching her throbbing pubic area with both hands.

'You fucking stupid whore!!' Katy meanwhile yelled at her, 'Who do you think you are!!'

...On this occasion, the two women didn't part without having challenged each other to a scheduled competition and fight between themselves.

Betty proclaimed to Katy that she sings better than her and wouldn't even have any use for her as an opening act for her own show, and that Katy '...should kiss her [Betty's] feet at the fact that she condescended to enrich Katy's weak performance...'.

Katy laughed at this, and challenged Betty to a singing contest onstage on the following evening when the next show was to take place. But what will be the most thrilling surprising event for the audience:... Katy and Betty, after their singing contest, will finally settle their hostilities by having a boxing ring brought onto the stage to fight each other in a wrestling match with a clear winner and clear loser.

If Katy wins, Betty will have to forfeit all her financial gains from the tour to Katy's advantage.
