NOTE: This story is somewhat of a prequel to my Jennifer Lopez stories and may later intertwine with those stories.
The Celebrity Fighting Federation had been off to a rocky start when it initially burst onto the scene. Competing with some of the more accomplished, established leagues, it found itself in a drought of audience-drawing talent right out of the gates. Their biggest initial signing, Jennifer Lopez had gone down with an injury after only her first win in the company. And when the main event for your latest event features a 1-5 Maggie Lawson going up against a 3-4 Mischa Barton, things aren’t exactly off to a great start. But things were set to change for the unfortunate federation, they had recently landing two emerging stars who were set to debut against each other, ready to put themselves and the CFF on the map.
Margot Robbie had been the “it” girl for a short while now, she had initially resisted the urge to join a celebrity fighting league (not for want of trying from some of the biggest leagues around) but the CFF was able to finally convince her to join up once she realized that her career was headed into a more action- oriented direction than she originally anticipated. Margot figured that fighting bound only legitimize her as a true action star.
On the other side Daisy Ridley had eagerly accepted the first invitation into a league, out to prove that she was more than just the latest Star Wars girl. She needed the publicity to branch out from the “Star Wars” franchise to more and more roles quick had been surprisingly hard to find after her breakthrough.
It was set to be the biggest fight in the CFF’s short history and was automatically made the main every for CFF 4. The fight would be to KO in the light heavyweight division, no submission, no pinning. It was truly a one- fight card for the CFF and even more than that a make or break moment for the young federation. All eyes would be on the CFF for the fight, but they’d only stay there if the fight delivered, if not then the CFF would be back to the drawing board.
The night of the fight finally came up and no one was more ready than the two fighters set to square off. Margot Robbie had gone straight from getting into shape for some of her latest roles to training for the fight, while she was the heavy odds on favorite she did not take her opponent lightly. Daisy on the other hand saw the odds as just another hurdle in her way, she knew she was the underdog and she knew that she could take Margot, she had too much heart and too much passion to ever give up to someone like Margot.
Daisy made her way to the ring first wearing an athletic green one-piece leotard, to modest applause from the crowd. Both she and the crowd knew that she still had something to prove and she was more than ready to prove it. She confidently walked down to the ring and without hesitation entered the ring. Daisy paced back and forth waiting for her opponent to make her entrance, she knew what this fight needed to be for the federation but she had no intention of putting on a “great fight” if the chance arose for her, Daisy would go for the knockout as soon as possible.
A hushed silence came over the sold out audience in anticipation for the heavy favorite. Margot Robbie came from the back dressed in a sleek black athletic top and tight grey short shorts. The audience erupted as soon as Margot emerged she quickly walked down to the ring with a blank expression on her face. As soon as the audience’s applause subsided the referee began to prepare the two fighters to get started. He made sure to explain the rule to both of the women; that there would be no pins, no submissions, the fight would only stop when one fighter was knocked completely unconscious by their opponent. Both of the fighters agreed to the rules and the referee called for the bell to start the match.
The two women squared up, Daisy had the slight height advantage but the two women for the most part seemed to be evenly matched. The two locked up in a test of strength, they stood in a deadlock for almost a minute before Robbie started to gain some ground. She pushed Daisy back towards the corner behind her, before she had Ridley in the corner though Daisy delivered a quick kick to the midsection of Robbie immediately taking her breath away. Daisy followed up her kick by locking the blonde into a headlock, she grinded Margot down till she was on her knees holding her in the headlock. Margot tried to push the brunette off of her but she had the headlock locked in tightly.
The crowd was beginning to grow restless at the relatively tame main event that was currently being delivered but they were willing to give the match a little bit of time due to the names involved. Finally Margot was able to push Daisy off of her and into the ropes, but before Margot could collect herself Daisy bounced off of the ropes and took Margot to the ground again locking her in a headlock. At this point the crowd was ready to turn on the match, they began loudly and in unison chanting “BORING, BORING!” Daisy didn’t seem to care at first because she was just doing whatever she could to win, but then the ref came over to break the hold, pushing Daisy off and telling her “You’re here to fight.”
Daisy approached Margot as she got to her feet ready to lock her in another hold but before she could reach her opponent Margot snapped off a beautiful kick straight into Ridley’s face knocking her to the ground. The crowd came alive for the first time in the match but Margot didn’t stop there. She lifted Daisy up and whipped her into the ropes, as Daisy came back she delivered a vicious clothesline that nearly took Daisy’s head off.
While her opponent was down Robbie decided to play to the crowd a little bit, and they just ate it up if they didn’t have enough reason to cheer Margot going into the match they did now. But Ridley wasn’t going out that easily she got to her feet shaking the cobwebs out of her head and saw Margot playing to the crowd, she took advantage of Margot’s lack of attention and ran up behind the blonde delivering a dropkick that knocked her over the top rope to the floor outside.
Daisy wasted no time following her opponent to the outside, Margot still was trying to get to her feet when Daisy reached her. “Come on, let’s get on with this,” Daisy said as she lifted Robbie up by the hair. The second Margot got to her feet she unleashed a flurry of punches onto the brunette, again the crowd roared with approval as Margot sent designated shots to Daisy’s face and body. The second Daisy was staggered back, Margot charged at her and hit her with a jumping knee to the face and chest knocking Daisy onto her back on the outside of the ring. “Yeah, let’s get on with it,” Margot taunted to her now downed opponent.
Robbie tried the same tactic that her opponent had tried by lifting her up by the hair to throw her back in the ring but with a marginally higher level of success than her opponent had had. Margot followed Daisy into the ring as the younger actress tried to pull herself together after being surprised by her opponent’s offense on the outside. She slowly got to her feet and turned around to face her opponent only to be met with another clothesline from Margot for her efforts. Now Daisy was in a bad way in the middle of the ring on her back. Robbie decided it was time to try some flying as she headed to the top rope in one of the corners of the ring.
Margot stood on the top rope ready to launch herself onto her opponent, she leaped into the air and slammed down hard. The only problem was that she didn’t slam down on Daisy, she slammed down hard on the mat with nobody home. Daisy hard rolled out of the way just in time to leave Margot breathless in the middle of the ring. As Margot got to her knees trying to get back into the fight, Daisy flew back at her with a harsh dropkick flipping the blonde inside out. The tables had quickly turned and now Daisy was in the driver’s seat.
She pressed her advantage, pulling Margot up by the hair and then performed a snap vertical suplex on the blonde in an impressive show of strength leaving Robbie clutching her back in pain. Daisy circled the downed Margot and decided to go in for the kill, she got behind Margot and locked her into a brutal kneeling dragon sleeper hold, Margot started feeling the pain immediately as her back and neck were bent unnaturally backwards, she screamed in gain but knew there would be no relief until she was knocked, even if she were to tap the fight wouldn’t be over anyways. But she had no intention of tapping to Ridley anyways.
Margot slowly tried to get to her feet while still in the hold, she knew if she couldn’t get out of the hold she’d be in no condition to put up a fight anyways. Margot slowly started to arc her way up to her feet, Ridley saw what Margot was trying to do and wasn’t willing to give her any chance to escape, the best chance she’d had thus far to put this one away. She started slamming her fist down in a hammering motion onto Margot taught stomach. Margot felt the pain but knew she had no other option than to power out of it, it was now or never for the Australian.
Margot finally had the hold up to the feet despite Daisy’s best efforts to shut her down, Daisy could feel the fight quickly getting away from her but didn’t know what to do so she continued with her punches. In one swift movement Margot flipped herself so that Daisy’s fist landed onto her back and she rammed Ridley into the corner back first. Daisy immediately let go of her hold on Robbie when she felt the pain in her back from being slammed into the corner. She tried to get back into control of the fight by sending a swift punch towards Margot’s face. Margot managed to duck under the punch just in time, and after Daisy’s punch hit nothing she had her back towards her opponent.
In another incredible display of strength, Margot wrapped her arms around Daisy’s waist and tossed her backwards with a punishing German suplex that slammed Daisy onto her back and neck. Right then and there Daisy was nearly knocked out cold. The crowd was now fully into the match with nearly all of the audience on their feet. Margot jumped on top of the bruised Daisy and locked in a tight anaconda vice chokehold submission. Daisy was a pathetic mess at this point, she had no way out of the hold and nothing left in the tank, she believed that she could go against the odds and win and at this point it seemed as though she had overestimated her own worth in the ring.
After only a couple of moments in the hold Daisy was tapping her submission, begging Margot to let her go. Unfortunately for Daisy tapping out meant nothing but to show the audience that she had given up. Margot decided to keep the hold locked in for as long as she could to make sure that Daisy had nothing she could answer with. After a minute in the hold, Daisy was becoming blue in the face, flailing all of her free limbs. Not long after the referee broke the hold making sure that Margot didn’t totally choke Daisy out. Daisy was out of breath and had no energy left in the tank, she looked as though she had no idea where she was so Margot decided to end the fight.
She pulled Daisy up by the brunette locks and set her up for what looked like a vertical suplex, she lifted the brit up into the air and held her there. Then Margot dropped down to her back delivering a nightmarish brainbuster that turned out Daisy’s lights instantly. The ref called for the bell and raised Margot’s arm high above her head. Daisy was a total mess, her face wet with tears, totally knocked out in the center of the ring. The audience roared in approval of what they had just witnessed, Margot took a bow to the audience. As Margot was getting ready to leave the ring the audience began chanting “ENCORE, ENCORE!” Robbie just playfully shrugged her shoulder, walked over to the down brunette and sat her up in front of her. She slipped the two shoulder straps of Daisy’s green leotard down her body to reveal her beautiful tits and then gave the unconscious girl and passionate kiss on the lips. She stood up and took another bow to the loudest audience reaction yet, she then left the ring and headed to the back.
CFF 4 would end up being the turning point for the fledgling promotion and one of the most talked about fights ever. The CFF was just getting started, and so was their new biggest star Margot Robbie who intended to take the light heavyweight division by storm.
