Spy vis-à-vis Spy
« on: February 23, 2017, 10:08:04 PM »
(OOC: This is a mixed fighting story but hopefully you guys will enjoy it.)

Grand Hôtel
Stockholm, Sweden
NAME REDACTED's birthday party

Agent Jack Nada was The Agency's combat instructor and part-time spy for the Agency. Nada was a twenty year man for the agency, known for his hand-to-hand combat skills and veteran savvy in the field. Nada didn't mind his job as combat instructor, it meant that he came home every night to his wife and kids every night. It's a nine-to-five job with solid benefits that keeps him in tip-top shape compared to working at a desk. The days of gallivanting across the globe, chasing down bad guys and saving the world is a young man's game. Chief Borden called Nada off the bench for the occasional mission just to keep him fresh. If the mission called for a certain "roughness" to it, Nada was your guy. It had been a year since Borden brought Nada off the bench for a mission and the agent sensed he had a mission coming his way. Nada wasn't a handsome man, he had a certain ruggedness to him that you don't see in many agents. He wasn't suave nor sophisticated but he knew how to get the job done. He stands at 6'4, weighs around 205 pounds with short brown hair that's parted to the right. While he didn't look like James Bond in a tuxedo, he did pull it off rather well. Nada returned from a two-week vacation with his family when he got the news that he was needed in Sweden for a mission. A Swedish arms dealer was holding a birthday bash at Grand Hôtel, but it was a front for the arms dealer to conduct business meetings in his suite with perspective clients. Borden tasked Nada with getting close to him at the party and stealing his room key. From there, Nada would go up to the room and download the files on the arm's dealer laptop onto a secure flash drive. In an out, one of easier missions of his career. Nada viewed it as less of a mission and more of an an extended vacation. It wasn't cockiness, but today's criminal masterminds are awful compared to the masterminds that Nada faced. The criminals of today just lack a certain sophistication compared to the masterminds of the past.* Nada was right, the arms dealer was three sheets to the wind, he acquired the key with ease and his room was unguarded. Nada downloaded the information with ease and The Agency had enough evidence to move forth with putting this clown in jail. Nada went back to his room, put the flash drive in his briefcase and return to the party for a victory drink. By the time Nada returned to the bar, the party had died down as the arms dealer had to be carried back to his room because of his drunken antics. Nada couldn't help but laugh from the bar at the site of this "criminal mastermind" acting like an absolute fool.

Nada order a glass of Sweden's finest vodka and notice an absolute stunner walking his way. Dressed in a silver lace dress with her brown hair flowing down to her nape, Nada was drawn to her eyes and her entire 5'2 frame. Her eye color was a piercing pale blue with thick eyebrows and full lips. Nada had seen some real beauties but this one made his knees weak, despite his vow to never cheat on his wife. Spies usually mess around, but Nada had done pretty well in staying loyal to his wife. This stunner was walking right towards him and took a set next to him at the bar.

"What are you drinking, mate?" the woman asked Nada.

"Vodka, the best drink in the whole damn world" Nada responded.

"Split a bottle?" the woman asked knowing how expensive top shelf vodka was at the hotel. Nada was apprehensive until he saw the woman retrieved a thick bundle of krona's from her purse. Nada responded by throwing a pile of krona's on-top of the woman's. The bartender produced a top shelf bottle with two glasses as the woman topped the two of them off.

"Before you ask, I'm not a lady of the night. I work for the British Embassy. My wanker of a boss couldn't talk to a woman to save his life and begged me to come as his date," she said as Nada nodded. She pointed to her boss, currently gorging on the five star cuisine the hotel provided for the party.

"He seems to be a keeper," Nada said as he winked and took a drink. "How much did he pay you to be his date?" the incognito agent asked.

"Three weeks vacation," the woman responded as Nada put a sarcastic thumb up. "I just hate these types of situations, everybody here is all dressed up and artificial," the* woman vented.

"I wouldn't be talking, you look like something out of a magazine photo shoot," Nada responded.

"Yes, wearing a dress that feels like I have an anaconda squeezing me to death plus three hours sitting in a chair having my hair done constitutes "fun" so I can be arm candy constitutes having a good time," the woman said sarcastically.

"Sounds like you need another drink," Nada said as the woman clinked her glass signifying she wanted more. As the night went on, the two of them seemed to getting close until his phone rang. Nada knew the time was come to leave the bar since the vodka was almost gone and he felt his inhibitions lowering. Nada excused himself from the brunette beauty and what he saw floored him.

The Russians had sent a spy to the party to retrieve the files and if needed, neutralize Nada.

Nada downloaded the dossier on the Russian agent and when he saw the picture of the agent, he felt like a total fool. The woman, that drop dead knockout that he had spent the night flirting with was the Russian spy.

Viktoria Dankovich was a top Russian spy nicknamed "The Chameleon" for her ability to mimic any accent on the planet. It also helped that her parents were British and they moved to Russia before she was born. Dankovich wasn't her real name but nobody outside of her superiors knew her actual name. Dankovich was also know for her superior hand-to-hand combat skills in the field. Nada returned to the bar, continued talking but Dankovich excused herself when her phone went off. She quickly returned with a sour look on her face and while the two resumed talking, tension filled the room. The two spies excused themselves to their respective rooms. Nada quickly packed his things and was ready to leave when he heard a sudden knock at the door. Nada was unarmed as he slowly approached the door and saw Dankovich in the peephole. Nada slowly opened the door and saw Dankovich standing in the doorway, brandishing a Walther PP with a silencer, small enough to hide in her purse the entire time.

"Agent Nada," the femme fatale said pointing the pistol at Nada's chest. "I believe you know why I'm here and I don't want to make your wife and kids fatherless, so let's do this without any bloodshed," Dankovich said.

Nada was thankful that Dankovich was willing to spare his life but he was under strict instructions from Chief Borden to return the flash drive to the states.

"I will admit that you look very pretty holding that gun," Nada said as he reached for his briefcase with the flash drive. Dankovich kept the gun on him at all times but the sound of an elevator opening distracted her.

Nada quickly grabbed Dankovich's wrist and jerked it up as the Russian got off one shot into the ceiling. Nada disarmed the spy and threw the gun into the hallway and blocked an attempted neck chop by Dankovich. Nada threw the spy to the floor and shut the door, locking the deadbolt. Dankovich was already up and charged the American spy, hitting him in the chest with a jumping roundhouse kick to the chest. Nada fell backwards into the door and staggered forward as the brunette jumped onto him. Dankovich tries a monkey flip but Nada manages to block it and slams Dankovich to the ground. Dankovich's back bounced off the hardwood floor as Nada grabbed the legs of Dankovich and swung her into the wall. This wasn't any ancient technique that Nada was taught on a Tibetan mountaintop, this was brute strength. Dankovich groaned as her head bounced off the wall but she managed to grab the briefcase. Dankovich swung the briefcase and it made solid contact with the head of Nada, the solid steel briefcase received an new cosmetic upgrade. Dankovich rose and landed a solid spinning back to Nada's stomach, doubling the American over but Nada blocked a kick to the head and swept the Russian off her feet with a kick. Nada grabbed the briefcase and tossed it into the bathroom, and slammed the door shut. Nada straddled the Russian and started to choke her but her beauty was intoxicating as he stared down at her, and Dankovich saw it as an opening. Dankovich grabbed the collar of Nada's dress shirt and headbutted the bigger fighter in the nose. Nada could hear the sound of bones breaking in his nose as he rolled off her as blood started to trickle. Nada was damning himself internally for falling victim to her beauty as both spies got back up, feeling the effects of the fight thus far.

Nada went to throw a left hook but Dankovich countered wiith a push kick that Nada caught. Before Nada could contemplate his next move, Dankovich leaped high in the air and connected with a high kick to the occiput. Nada fell to one knee as his occiput was screaming in pain as he got back up. Dankovich leaped high in the air and made direct contact to the already broken nose of Nada. The nose was now disfigured from all the punishment it had absorbed from the knee and headbutt. Nada was holding himself against the table, as the Russian beauty was measuring him up for the finishing blow. Nada saw a desk lamp and saw that Dankovich was looking to finish him with a right hook. Nada grabbed the lamp and slammed it into's Dankovich hand right before she connected with the punch. The glass lamp exploded upon impact at Dankovich howled in pain as shards of glass now adorned the desk. Dankovich was now on the defensive as Nada decided to use his strength and threw Dankovich to the floor with a hip throw as he walked to his bag and held onto Dankovich's arm and drove two punches to the jaw of Dankovich, stunning her. Nada was lucky that he carried a pair of plastic handcuffs in his bag and he smiled when he heard the groans of his rival.

Victory was his.

When Nada turned around, Dankovich charged him, jumped off the wall and connected with a roundhouse kick that Nada blocked with his right elbow. Nada felt a stinging pain in his right elbow and assumed that Dankovich had fractured a bone with the kick. Nada went to throw a right, but Dankovich blocked and drove her left elbow upwards into Nada's chin. The blow surprised Nada as Dankovich jumped onto him and locked in a guillotine choke, wrapping her legs around Nada. Nada swung Dankovich around the room, wheezing at his larynx was slowly being crushed, Dankovich was like a spider monkey, albeit a hot Russian one. The choke was tight and Dankovich was giving the occasional squeeze with her legs as Nada decided to ram the Russian into the wall. Nada heard her grunt but it did little to lessen her grip, so Nada rammed her into the wall again and again as he slowly felt her grip lessen. Nada felt her grip tighten back up and the American was feeling a bit light headed and he needed to make a last-gasp move. Nada maneuvered the Russian towards the bathroom door and rammed her through the door, slamming her on the marble floor. The two spies were flat on their backs, Nada wheezing from the choke and Dankovich moaning as Nada saw the briefcase near Dankovich. Nada got back using the vanity for assistance and grabbed the Russian's brunette locks and tossed her into the bathtub. Nada discretely took out the flash drive and placed it in his shaving kit and Dankovich never saw Nada commit the crime. Nada walked towards Dankovich and the Russian snapped into the action and grabbed the right arm of Nada and dropped down, slamming the already injured elbow into the marble bathtub. Nada howled in pain as Dankovich slithered out of the tub and grabbed the briefcase and stumbled out of the room. Nada got back up and stumbled into the room, putting his dukes up.

"You American's don't give up, do you?" Dankovich sighed at the sight of Nada refusing to give up.

"I can do this all day," Nada responded in-between heavy breaths.

"Did you steal that line from Civil War?" Dankovich asked.

"It was the movie they showed on the plane," Nada responded as he approached Dankovich.

There was some space between the two and Dankovich walked to the dresser and rip the HDTV out of the socket. It was't a big one, a twenty inch screen but it was light. Compared to the TV's of old, Dankovich might as well be holding a pillow in her hands. Nada looked around for a weapon and saw nothing, so the American muttered "fuck it" underneath his breath and approached the Russian. Dankovich swung the HDTV like a baseball bat and Nada barely ducked the blow. The Russian had a look on her face that screamed psychotic as she swung again and the TV nearly connected with Nada's forehead. Dankovich screamed like a banshee and swung the HDTV like a steel chair and Nada got a hold of* the HDTV. A struggle ensued for possession of the HDTV and Nada won the battle with a swift kick to the stomach that bent Dankovich over. Nada looked at the television and a moral battle between good and evil ensued in his head, hitting a woman with an HDTV was a potential moral event horizon for the American. Than again, the two spies had just spent the last fifteen or so minutes trying to kill each other, so shrugged and slammed the HDTV over the back of Dankovich. The Russian screamed and went to all fours as Nada discarded the HDTV and went to lift up the Russian, hooking her arms as he stood in-front of her. Nada nailed a headbutt on his own, a receipt from the headbutt earlier. Dankovich groaned and fell to the floor as Nada was feeling confident as he pulled her up by the hair and put her in a waistlock. Nada tried a suplex but Dankovich managed to get her feet against the wall. In an amazing moment, Dankovich walked up the wall and managed to break Nada's grip and stood behind him. Nada wasn't even mad, he was impressed with the agility of his Russian opponent. Nada turned around and Dankovich's right arm and dragged him to the ground, locking in a kimura.

Nada knew he needed to act fast as Dankovich turned up the pressure of the right arm of the American. Nada yelled in pain as he tried to break the hold, but Dankovich knew what she was doing. The Russian also had her legs tightly wrapped around Nada's waist, nullifying Nada's ability to rise up. This actually benefited Nada as having the legs wrapped around him kept Dankovich flat on her back. Finally, Nada realized that he needed to punch his way of the out, throwing small punches that the Russian easily dodged until Nada landed a big blow on those full lips, followed by two more. Nada finally got his arm free but Dankovich was five steps ahead of him and got a hold of the arm again and threw her legs up for a triangle choke. Dankovich had the choke locked in beyond tight as she slowly squeezed the arteries of Nada. Nada was in full-on panic mode as he tried lifting the Russian off the floor, looking to slam her into the floor, but he failed. Nada tried again and successfully lifted Dankovich off the floor and realized that he didn't have a place to slam her down. The bed would do nothing, then he made eye contact with the glass balcony door. With all the energy he had left (Very little) and his last reverse of strength, he charged towards the door with Dankovich suddenly realizing what was about to happen. The two spies crashed through the glass and Dankovich was teetering on a fall from the third floor. Dankovich was seated on the railing and continued to squeeze as Nada felt himself fading. With one last heave, Nada lifted her off the railing and slammed her onto the floor. Nada was just about unconscious as he rested on his opponent before crawling into the room, looking for the plastic handcuffs.

He then felt a hand grab his ankle.

Nada could only mumble "sonofabitch" under his breath as he turned his head and saw Dankovich climbing up up his body. The Russian eventually slithered over the American and got back up brandishing a sharpened piece of the lamp. Nada got back up and in a surprising moment, Dankovich dropped the piece of glass and put up her fists and Nada did the same. Nada connected with a straight jab to the lips that staggered Dankovich and slipped a left straight. Dankovich parried a left hook and connected with a left straight of her own that snapped the American's head backwards. Dankovich connected with an uppercut that sent Nada backwards and Dankovich turned up the aggression, throwing a series of wild punches something the Russian would never do in a normal battle. Nada saw that Dankovich had her chin high and slipped a small punch that put her on one knee. It came out of nowhere and Dankovich was on dream street but Dankovich connected with a solid liver punch that had Nada on one knee. It seemed like the fight would finish with both fighters on their knees as SUDDENLY THE DOOR WAS KICKED IN! Hotel security and three cops brandishing service pistols, screaming in Dutch at the two spies. Nada put his hands up right away as he realized these cops had itchy trigger fingers and wasn't willing to test them tonight.

One of the cops hauled Dankovich up and went to cuff her, when she suddenly headbutted the cop. Even before the other two cops could pulled the trigger, one was taken out with an elbow to the nose and the last cop was taken out with a spinning back fist. The hotel security wasn't going to do anything since fighting a Russian spy wasn't covered in orientation as she walked to the bathroom and retrieved the briefcase. "Thanks for the workout, let's call it a draw" Dankovich said with glee as she walked to the balcony and JUMPED OFF!. Nada and security followed her and he saw her jump down to another balcony and just disappeared into the room. Nada took out his Agency badge when the less than happy cops approached him. Nada had to smile and wondered what her reaction would be when she opened up the briefcase and found nothing.
