Many have had concerns over security issues when placing orders through clips4sale.com where many of our fellow producers sell their videos online.
You may have encountered a RED "HTTPS" with a bar across it in the address bar of your browser. Typically, this would alert us to an insecure session where your information (credit card, personal info) is at risk of being horked by the bad guys.
I spoke with the lads over at C4S today and found that this has been an on and off issue, but that the transactions are indeed secure. They are working to remedy the issue.
What you're seeing is a combo of your virus protection and / or browser used denoting that their SSL certificate is either using an obsolete cipher suite and / or that the certificate is using a deprecated signature algorithm.
All this means that it is still secure but needs updating.
If you encounter this red "HTTPS" and bar in your browser's address bar, switch to a different browser and you may not see it. Does it mean it is 100% safe and secure? I couldn't guarantee it but I wouldn't worry about it (your mileage may vary).
Hopefully they'll resolve the issue to put everyone at ease ;
Cheers
