 A quick update before reading:

Hello there! It's been a few weeks since I last posted, I got busy and took some time of. Anyhow I'm back now and you can expect much more of me. Finally here is Round 1 out of 5 for my 1st Franchise Battle: Harry Potter vs Game of Thrones. PS: To keep things from being to long, instead of writing all five stories I only wrote highlights for each round for each fight and that is how I'll continue doing Franchise Battles.

Fight 1: Emma Watson vs Nathalie Emmanuel

Round 1: Neither girl really in charge, mostly getting close with jabs then keeping distance and circling around each other. Emma lands a few more jabs near the end of the round as Nathalie finds herself near the ropes. The round ends with Emma landing a hook of Nathalie’s ribs but it doesn’t cause too much damage.

Round 2: The pace of the fight starts to pick up as Emma baits Nathalie into a hook early into the round and follows it up with a knee to the belly. With Nathalie bend forward grabbing her belly Emma thinks she has her where she wants her until Nathalie lands an elbow of Emma’s ribs turning the table around. Girls exchange blows for the rest of the round with Nathalie on top.

Round 3: Nathalie with a surge of confidence going into round three. She storms out of her corner and lunges at Emma but she manages to dodge it as Nathalie crashes into the ropes. Emma doesn’t waste a second and instantly gets to work. With Nathalie stuck to ropes she leaves herself completely open. Emma starts off with repeated punches to Nathalie’s belly then goes upstairs landing jabs and hooks all over Nathalie’s face. Emma finishes of the round with a kick to the groin just for good measure.

Round 4: Nathalie not so sure with herself anymore going into round four. All Emma this round as she punishes Nathalie’s body and ribs with powerful kick and her face with hook from either side. Not much coming from Nathalie this round, her belly is red and her nose and lip are bleeding as Emma does her best to break her down.

Round 5: Nathalie fighting spirit is starting to break as Emma is in complete control for another round. Nathalie finds herself stuck in the corner getting her head tossed around via Emma’s fists. She’s suffering minor bleeding from her temple as Emma continues her punishment. Nathalie barely standing at the end of the round while Emma is hopping around the ring.

Round 6: Nathalie on her last legs as Emma lunges forward, walking Nathalie to ropes in a few seconds. Nathalie doesn’t have the strength to raise her arms and only protests with slight moans in pain. Emma’s certainly not pulling her punches or kicks as she delivers a relentless beatdown to Nathalie. She finally slides of the ropes and stays down as the fans cheer Emma in victory.

Winner: Emma Watson (1:0)

Fight 2: Bonnie Wright vs Maisie Williams

Round 1: Slow start to the fight as the girls spend the majority of the first round observing each other jabbing mildly in the process. Both girls managed to lands some nice jabs but nothing to be excited about.

Round 2: No change of pace in round two, the girls keep jabbing at each other’s faced with a couple hooks thrown in as cheeks starts to get red. Still no exciting action while the girls are still trying to figure out one another.

Round 3: Bonnie goes in with the same tactic, jabbing and hooking for Maisie’s face but she gets clever and ducks under Bonnie’s punches landing some jabs of her abs and throwing in some low kicks. Bonnie shrugged off her feet for a second but not losing confidence, just gaining awareness and patience.

Round 4: Change of tactics for Bonnie. She lets Maisie come to her instead of the other way around. Bonnie has a plan in mind as Maisie goes in for the same tactic of ducking under Bonnie’s punches and punishing, instead Maisie dodges and rushes the flanks delivering a stunning kick to Bonnie’s ribs who responds with a hook but nearly not as powerful as that kick.

Round 5: Instead of playing it safe both girls meet in the middle and trade punches. A lot of power coming from both sides but ultimately Bonnie in the lead. Near the end of the round she lands a powerful uppercut sending Maisie crashing to the canvas.

Round 6: Round five evened the odds out but Bonnie has other plans in mind. She continues with her aggression tactic and catches Maisie off guard catching her with a hook uppercut combo sending her crashing come again.

Round 7: Bonnie going in with the same tactic but Maisie doesn’t find a way around them now. Instead she reacts late and gets caught with the brutal hook uppercut combo again but instead of crashing to the canvas she crashes into the ropes. Bonnie finishes her off with a few hard hooks to the belly sending her down to canvas one final time as she doesn’t get up and the referee ends the fight.

Winner: Bonnie Wright (2:0)

Fight 3: Clémence Poésy vs Sophie Turner

Round 1: Unlike the previous two fights this one starts lightning fast as Sophie storms out of her corner and completely surprises Clémence stunning her in the process and tossing her around the ring early. Sophie puts her legs to use and hurts Clémence’s ribs and thighs. No response from Clémence as she spends the round blocking Sophie’s powerful kicks with her arms which hurts her even more.

Round 2:  Not looking good for Clémence as Sophie’s still in charge and she has no ideas. Sophie’s powerful legs keep tossing her around the ring and it doesn’t look like Clémence can take much more. After a while she crashes down to the ground and yells “I give up!”

Winner: Sophie Turner (2:1)

Fight 4: Evanna Lynch vs Emilia Clarke

Round 1: Another fast starts with both girls coming fast out of their corners and clashing in the middle. Punches kicks and blood from the start as both girls get hurt early. They’re only separated by the bell and ready for more.

Round 2: Another fast and indecisive round with both girls throwing all the got at one another colouring their faces and bodies red and blue. Again only separated by the bell and hungry for more.

Round 3: Another clash in the middle but this time Evanna get hurt via knee to the ribs. With Evanna stunned Emilia grabs a hold of her hair and pumps her fists into her ribs increasing the damage and finishing it off by relentless low kicks making Evanna limp to her corner at the end of the round.

Round 4: With Evanna limping and having breathing trouble due to rib damage it’s all Emilia this round as she finishes the girl off. Emilia approaches Evanna with a barrage of jabs as she desperately tries to get away but finds herself trapped. Emilia throws in a feel more hook and it’s all over for poor Evanna who slides down the ropes clutching onto her ribs.

Winner: Emilia Clarke (2:2)

Fight 5: Helena Bonham Carter vs Natalie Dormer

Round 1: Helena decided to enter the tournament despite being 52 years old but it is soon turned around her as she gets bossed around the ring by much younger and fit Natalie. She has an answer for whatever Helena throws and turns it around her with ease.

Round 2: Same as round one; all Natalie and not much coming from Helena. No change of tactics for Natalie who still tosses Helena wherever she wants.

Round 3: Helena barely coming out of her corner but Natalie is already on top of her. Trapping her in the corner and punishing her body. Helena can’t take much more and quits the fight for her own good.

Winner: Natalie Dormer (2:3)
