In the first match up of the SI Swimsuit battle, Samantha Hoopes easily manhandled Erin Heatherton.  Both women will be back in future fights.  On to fight two.

Irina Shayk (Russia): 29 years old, 5 foot 10 and 119 pounds vs Jessica Gomes (Australia): 29 years old, 5 foot 9.5 and 112 pounds.

Jessica looks to me as if she could be a lot meaner and will fight more determinedly for the win.
