National Rivalries
« on: April 30, 2024, 04:07:25 PM »
Women from certain countries seem to have natural hostility towards one another.    German and Austrian women  for example or here  open aggression between Czech and Hungarian girls.   This match was stopped by the organisers, DWW,  much to the surprise of  the refereee. And the regret  of those who were wanting to see a fight.   The women watching  were noisily encouraging the girls to fight hard.   The  demeanour of the girls as they faced off and the facial expressions as they locked together trying to hurt each other showed the intent and feeling between them.  This match was closer than the score suggests.

That was quite a fight.  Both girls came out full speed ahead right from the first round.

I wonder how many girls agree to fight/wrestle thinking they would be good at it, and after they get into their first fight realize it's a lot rougher than they thought?  I noticed that one of the girls had done taekwondo so she was used to rough competition.  But the other girl had done handball which isn't exactly a combat sport.

Thanks for this post!
