It's a battle of heavyweights! Joanie and I have had one match which I won but not without a serious struggle. We both hurt each other but I managed to prevail in the end. That match can be read here: https://www.freecatfights.com/forums/index.php?topic=80437.0
I've put on a few pounds since then, standing in at 5'7.5" and 203-207. Joanie is a stout 5'5" and 237 thicc pounds.

We intend to play the match out as the voting goes. I know Joanie is legendary but I'm willing to do my best and take my chances against one of the pillars of the FCF community. Please vote and comment! We really want to hear what all of you are thinking and will do our very best to write you an entertaining tale of wrestling. :-)

I am intrigued by this matchup. First I thought that one would win. Then after giving it more thought, I thought the other would come out on top. I’ll hold my vote until the fighting starts. May the best woman win in this one. Good luck to both.

I hope this is a good match. Either one or both of us could be embarrassed. I suppose there would be no shame in losing to Gabi but beating her would be lovely revenge for our first match. Now let's get it on!

Joanie want's to get it going? Fine. We're in my favorite underground wrestling club. Joanie doesn't exactly fit the profile of the wrestlers here but she is amazing and certainly superior to those giggly, weak lightweights I normally see. We are expected to wrestle. There will be no use of foreign objects, but with no ref, it can get rough. We wrestled our one match in private and had no issues. Well, except where she nearly broke me in half. I admit I have butterflies. I am expected to win in this club and tonight, that is far from guaranteed.

I am announced first: "Now stepping into the ring, a legend and a legend killer, from Chicago, at 5'5" tall and 237 pounds, the 55 year old, ageless, Big Momma Joanie!" I get a very nice ovation and I move through the ropes and to my corner. In a green kini purchased some pounds ago, I am tanned, strong and ready. I have been preparing for this match for weeks and I hope my preparation has been beneficial enough to take down the beautiful and dangerous Gabi. If I can avoid her legs I think I have a very good chance in this one.

I haven't seen Gabi in a while and she is definitely heavier. I hope it's fat and slows her down and helps tire her out. The manager exits the ring, having given us the limited rules previously. I see him sit down he clangs the bell to signal the start. I move out to my right, sliding down the ropes, trying to get a good look at how my opponent moves, her body language and whatever else I might be able to read. I come off the ropes and turn in toward her and she mirrors my movements. I raise my arms, she raises her. I move in toward her and she moves toward me and SWAPPPP!! 440 pounds of girl wrestlers collide. I plant my feet and push in the referee's hold but Gabi stands her ground. I don't wait long. I back off and pull away, wanting to reset. Again we line up and slam into each other. A second time I gain no ground. I release and back up, thinking I need more momentum but so does she and this time the impact has me backing up. My back arches, my legs are no longer in the best position and I am being walked back against my will. When I feel the ropes in my back a cheer goes up and I prepare for what may come. Will she go to my belly? My breasts? Maybe she'll break cleanly. I can only hope!

Three tries to move me and three failures. In fact, I move her! Getting her in the ropes means I get to use them. I don't have to - I can pass on the opportunity and break cleanly which would be the nice and maybe even the respectful thing to do. But a wily veteran like Joanie is going to capitalize on any and every mistake I make. Not taking advantage of every opportunity presented to me could cost me at some point. Joanie really wants to win this one so I have to do something. I have been perusing Youtube as of late watching classic ladies wrestling and I saw a move recently that I had never seen before. The match had to be from the fifties. I thought the move was brilliant so I give it a try. Pressing Big Momma's back over the top rope and creating some arch, I slip around to her left side, plant my left foot and aim a knee strike for her lower back with my right leg. I don't go to the usual places - I take a shot at her lumbar area. If her back is bothering her, it limits everything she can do and gives me even more opportunities.

I've taken a deep breath, I've tightened my abs, the girls are, well, ready - they're always ready. But my opponent gets her legs involved in the action early. First she worked me back to the ropes and then the knee lift to my back knocks the wind out of me! I admit, even I have not seen this move and I'm sorry to say, Gabi has been studying her craft and now at my expense. I struggle to get a full breath while shoving my hands out toward the Gorgeous One to try to fend off any additional attacks. I manage to tie her up against the ropes. Now if only I could catch my breath. I think she got a bit of kidney with that knee!

It's almost a shame that Joanie has to put herself through this again. I understand her pride is damaged but how does one deal with losing, wanting a rematch and losing again? Where could you even put those negative emotions in your head?
My vote goes to Gabi and I think because of Joanie dealing with her emotions she loses even worse and in more humiliating fashion this time.

I got my point across. I put Joanie into the ropes and got in one good knee to her back. I heard her gasp when I made contact. No sense in lingering here against the ropes. So I untangle us and head for the middle of the squared circle. I'm trying to assess the big woman's attitude and physical condition. She is a very determined wrestler so she probably won't let what just happened bother her, but then again, it may have shaken her confidence at least somewhat. I adjust both parts of my bikini, breathe and pace, readying myself for Joanie's next move. We start to move around in a large circle but it closes pretty quickly. My arms are up, hoping she wants another lockup because I won't go so easy on her this time!

Two things I cannot do: begin to doubt myself or let Gabi get on a roll. Her last move was impressive but little harm done. We begin to circle each other again and move in more closely. I'm sure another lockup would end up the same way as the last one so I need to be cagey. I ease in with my arms up. Still a bit out of range, I stomp the canvas with my left foot and yell - "HAH!" The second I do that I see my taller opponent come at me as I hoped she would. I bend my knees a bit, lunge in and open my arms, hoping to catch her in a bear hug. I launch as hard as I can, needing to close the gap and establish the hold before she realizes what's happening.

I am ready to exert my new found dominance over the ring legend, intending to move her to the ropes or a corner and do some damage but the experienced wrestler isn't going to go along with my plan - not yet anyway. I walk right in, arms up, into a bear hug! I've wrestled some big women, but Joanie has arms, shoulders and a back like few others. I am trapped before I even know what has happened. I nearly panic. I slap at her upper arms, try to pull away and then try to push but she has taken enough of the weight off my feet to keep me from getting any traction. We're in the middle of the ring, nowhere near ropes or any other obvious way to cause her to break and I can feel her adjusting the hold, trying to find that spot that makes my ribs feel like they are about to snap and will steal my breath. I slap my hands into her biceps and push but that makes things worse. Suddenly the ring lights are very warm and my head feels like I've had a couple large glasses of wine. The heat radiates off our bodies and Joanie stuffs her bewbs under mine to help her keep me light on my feet and under control. SHIT!!

"Go ahead and scream sweetie - if you have that much breath in your lungs", I taunt through gritted teeth. I have to slow the beauty down and create some doubt in her mind. I need her to make some mistakes. She is too young and too strong and a good wrestler. I jerk your big body more tightly against mine, gripping my left wrist with my right hand. I lean back a lil, trying to take more of the weight off your feet and let gravity help put more pressure on your chest. I hear some concern in the tone of the crowd, seeing their champion put into trouble with a classic wrestling hold not many women use and fewer use well. I ease up to take a very quick breath, then apply the big squeeze again, pouring all I have into it. "RRRRRRRR!!"

The seconds are ticking by and I can barely breathe! It feels like an eternity being trapped and breathless against Joanie's body - I have to get out somehow. "Think Gabs, think!" I tell myself, but no ideas whatsoever. My legs are almost dangling as the powerhouse bends back and lifts me, easily holding my weight. I can feel the perspiration beginning to appear. Finally something comes to mind. I slip my left leg between Momma's pins and wrap my right around her left. I get my ankles locked and I squeeze - hard. Nothing. I slide mine around hers and squeeze again. Where is that femoral artery and nerve?? I move my legs a bit and squeeze. A bit more. I have to find that spot in her leg that will make her scream before she finds the one in my ribs!

I love using the bearhug - it usually catches my opponents off guard and Gabi is no exception. This close I can hear her breathing - or her attempt to breathe. Her wheezing is a sweet sound. I hope this takes a good bit of the starch out of her. It's been at least a minute and if I can hang on another minute, I should be in a great position. Then I feel her legs snake around my left. Is she trying to support herself? When she begins to squeeze the power is so impressive. I jerk my arms tighter but her legs continue to constrict when "OWWWWWW!!" She finds the spot and the pain shoots up and down my leg, my knee buckling. I try to hang on but I can't hold both of us up with just one leg and down we go! I lose my hug but my opponent stays clamped on, my leg throbbing. I look over to my left and see the ropes so I toss myself in that direction, getting the bottom one in both hands. "Ropes, BREAK!" I bark and in a few seconds she does. A cheer from the crowd tells us they approve but all I can concentrate on is trying to get up. I pull myself to the ropes and use them to get to my feet. I bend and shake my left leg and it hurts but seems to be fine. Then I hear the crowd counting in unison, "4 . . . 5 . . . 6". The manager orders through the PA, "She gets 10 Gabi, back away." I glance over and see the Big Beauty looking like she needs a break too. I hope that hug did its job.

I am quite happy to give my opponent a break. I'll play it off as good sportswomanship but the pain lingers in my rib cage and I need to catch my breath. I'd call this match pretty even up to this point which some would be happy with against a woman like Joanie but I know what she is capable of and giving her an opening will be costly. So I move back and forth, pulling in deep breaths, checking for injury but sense none. She is still loosening up that leg and I can hear uneasiness in the murmuring of the crowd. This match is still up for grabs. Finally we face off again, circling cautiously. I don't think another lockup is a good idea, but I make it appear I want one. This time I am going to try to take advantage and I am eyeing her left leg. I feint a lockup, then plant my left foot, pivot and aim the top of my right foot, ankle and shin for her still impressive quad. For now it may be best to target a body part. Her legs may not be the easiest challenge but with some damage already in the bank, let's see if we can earn some interest.

Another lockup? I need to think quickly and when she lunges in I react, trying to meet her head on but she's not there. Then it's "SWAPPPPP!" and my left leg takes a BIG impact. I wince, the pain building and building. I am able to only pull my left foot back a foot or so and I know follow-up is coming. I try to read what she's thinking and she's looking low. Belly? Legs? I brace, trying to anticipate but she has at least a few options. I start to shuffle back but Gabi pursues. I move back and away in an arc but she is tracking me. I may have awakened the Big Gabi Bear!

I land the kick to her left leg and it definitely stings her. She backs away rather than trying to counter which means she has some doubts. I really want to charge in and throw a barrage at her but it's probably still too early. One slip, one blunder and she will turn on me. SO I follow her, gaining ground. She steers clear of the ropes trying to be a moving target and her big body moves! I pick up the pace and it seems to be straining her reverse gear so I take one big step with my left leg, almost a small leap, ready my right foot again and slash it out toward her, this time wanting the inside of her right leg.

I'm moving backward as fast as I can but with my left leg in some pain and Gabi moving forward, she closes in. She finishes with a big step, looking much like a kicker in football and her next kick lands flush against the inside of my right leg a lil above the knee. I let out a short howl and continue to retreat but with smaller, slower steps. My opponent is beginning to take me apart little by little. I need something effective right about now if only to hold her off for a while. I reach back, trying to find the ropes with my left hand but I catch nothing. I can't take my eyes off her because it will take her about a half second to land something else. It's time to be aggressive. I stop quickly, perhaps not on a dime at my size, then dive for those big legs!

Joanie is in full retreat, wait, no she is not! She stops, gets ready and looks down, diving toward my legs. I bend my knees and jump back. Her hands graze my thicc, tanned legs and I watch as she misses. I waste no time, stepping right back to where I was. I take her head in both hands, pull it up and slide it between my thighs. I pull my feet together, locking on a standing head scissor and begin to squeeze. Joanie is very strong and she may be able to topple me so I had better make sure I don't keep this hold applied even one second too long.

This is an incredibly sexy match with two incredible women. Love it.

So much for being aggressive. I dive with Gabi's big legs as the targets and end up caught in them and oh my! I love using a standing head scissor and have always used it effectively and now I know why. It feels like my head disappears and not magically. I slap my hands into the backsides of the bear trap and dig in - well, try to dig in. There is so much to attack but it's too much. The size alone makes getting a grip almost impossible not to mention the tremendous pressure on my head and neck. My hands wander up and are simply getting smaller against larger and larger forms. Her butt - forget it! I wrap my arms around those legs and push, Push, PUSH but there is little movement. This could be the beginning of the end. I'm not saying it's over but this is the kind of hold that sets a wrestler up for an avalanche of punishment.

I go into the pub to see this exciting fight between two of the best FCF fighters ... I think it will be very even and I will reserve the vote as the fight progresses ... Cheer up girls

For the first time, one of us is in what I would call complete control. I exert my leg strength against Joanie's head and neck and try to judge her response and the effectiveness of the hold. I have finished more than one opponent like this, "finished" meaning there was no fight left in her when I released her, although one did simply submit. As my veteran opponent scans my legs for some form of retaliation, I squeeze more tightly by rising up on my toes which stiffens my legs even a bit more. Of course the obvious next move is to drop back to my heels, hopefully jarring her into greater submissiveness. I look up at the clock, thinking I have had her here long enough so I open my legs and step back to survey the damage. Let's just say it appears as I would have expected.

I've known Big Momma Joanie to be a force to be reckoned with, but it looks like Gabi is holding the lead thus far.
I've never had the opportunity to wrestle Big Momma, but I sure did against Gabi. I can tell you, she's also a tough cookie to face.

My head is swimming! I'm trying to grab, pinch, squeeze - anything I can do to loosen the crushing hold on my head and neck. My hands become more like paws as I search for relief and then the jolt. My brain and teeth rattle and then I am finally free. I palm the canvas and my arms nearly buckle. I haven't had a lick to drink but there has to be an empty bottle nearby. There isn't? I lift my head which feels like it weighs 50 pounds, trying to look up. I find myself staring into those deadly tree trunks Gabi calls legs. I shake my head and then again trying to focus when I see ropes to my left. I turn slowly toward them, reaching out and missing a couple times before I manage to get one. I get my other hand on a cable and think about pulling myself up but it's a passing thought. At the moment, nothing is going to linger in my brain for long except fog.

I willingly give the big woman time and space. I step back allowing her to gather her wits somewhat. The manager will be barking out a 10 count soon enough anyway. I've been where she is and our roles could easily be reversed. Don't think that I think this one is over. Joanie is one tough wrestler and she can strike with that power dangerously without warning. The count begins getting to four, then five and it doesn't look like She is going to beat it. I think about moving in but wait and finally she looks like she is going to get up. If she does, I still have work to do.

At 8, I tell myself to get up but not until 9-1/2 do I will myself off my knees. A cheer goes up but I doubt it's intended to encourage me. I hang on to the top rope with both hands and see Gabi off to my right. She is biding her time which is good and bad. She has time to think and rest while I'm just happy to be up. I turn to face my opponent, still holding the top rope in my left hand. I push my right foot forward, drag my left past it, slowly making my way nearer. I have no idea what I am going to do - probably depends completely on what she does. I don't think my opinion matters much at this point.

Still Joanie approaches. She is an amazing fighter. I have a dilemma however. If I go too hard on her I may be viewed as a bully. If I don't go hard enough I might leave the door open for a comeback. Finally I decide to go for a medium sized finish. I move into my opponent and shove her back against the ropes. I toss her arms over the top, wind up and slash a good old reverse knife edge chop across her chest. The flesh on flesh smack is heard by everyone but felt by just two. There is a collective "OOOOO!" from the audience in sympathy to what they imagine the pain to be. I don't wait long. Joanie sags into the ropes but took that shot surprisingly well. Grabbing her left arm I give her a good pull. A couple backward steps to build some momentum and I twist my hips, plant my feet and irish whip the heavyweight across the ring. I watch as she takes the ropes in her back and comes stumbling toward me. With two quick steps toward her I leave my feet aiming a drop kick for her chin and chest, trying to put an exclamation point on the match but without being seen as going too far.

This one may be slipping away. Gabi is now beginning to put on a clinic and there is little I can do. The reverse chop takes my breath away and then she gets me moving, which is no easy task. It's not like I am putting up much of a fight but my size is no issue for her. She whips me across the ring and I pound my feet into the boards, instinctively turn to take the ropes in my broad back and rebound. A couple strides the other way and I take a left foot to the chest and a right to the chin and the impact is huge! I am spun around and go down hard, groaning, ending up on my back staring up at the ring lights. I see my own chest rise and fall as I lie there, really not wanting to move, thinking I could rest here for a while. I'll just close my eyes . . .

This is a great fight and so exciting. Both appear to be very good at what they do. I would personally love to see Gabi take on Curvylaatinaqueen next. I think that would also be a great match.

I know Big Momma has been a staple here for quite some time, but Gabi is definitely in the lead here. I'll be watching how this turns out in the end.

The impact was definitely huge! Joanie got the worst of it but I took a pretty hard tumble myself. That was like drop kicking a bull! I get myself to hands and knees and see Momma settle to her back. She's not too far from the ropes but after looking her over for a moment it seems she is pretty dazed and not looking to get up or to the ropes. The drop kick should have done the job, but I decide to do one more thing. I don't want to show the veteran up but one last move to the pin should end the match in style without being a b*tch. I get to my feet and jog to the ropes, turn my back into them and bounce, running back to the prone grappler. I leap, dive and aim a full body splash for her upper body and once I hit it, I'll lie across her for the pin. No sense in extending this one. We are friends after all.

I settle on the canvas rather peacefully, trying to get myself together. Then I hear and feel the boards rumble, the ropes creak and I open my eyes to see the Big Beauty about to crash land on me. "HOHHHHHHH!!" You land flat across my body and again my breath is stolen. We bounce and the canvas gives some under our weight before all of us settles. Then I hear "one!" Holy shit, they're counting the pin! Then "Two!!" and I pull my legs in and kick, just getting a shoulder up. Another cheer goes up but why?? Are they cheering me on? I feel a lil bit of life!

I'm ready for "Three!" when Joanie rumbles beneath me and the count stops. WHAT?? I look down and her right shoulder is up. I slide around and slap my left palm onto her upper chest forcing her back down. Again the crowd begins, "One!" Then they follow up slowly but deliberately and more in unison, "TWO!" Certainly the third count and the bell are about to follow. I mean, really!

I draw my legs in again and KICK! My right shoulder comes up a second time and an even bigger cheer from the crowd. I snap at Gabi, "I'm not done yet sweetie!" and shove at her body, trying to get out from under her. There doesn't seem to be a third pin attempt imminent and we find ourselves struggling on the canvas. Finally my fighting back is successful and I slip out from under the beauty, getting to my knees. We make eye contact and I see question and then determination. Maybe I can lure her into a trap or force a mistake. I need something big though and I am getting pretty tired. I have taken some big impacts.

Joanie gets out away from me and kneels. I too am on my knees and we make eye contact. My first thought is, "how did she kick out, twice??" I now understand how she, by taking punishment, wears her opponent down. She is a lot to move even when not resisting. I push up to my feet and I can see she wants to but her legs seem to be betraying her so I step around behind her and with a lot of options, I decide to go old school. I raise my hands and slap them into her right shoulder at the base of her neck, leading with the left and using the right to stabilize it and apply more pressure. I dig in, gritting my teeth and leaning into the hold. Her shoulders are big and surprisingly well developed but when I get locked on I can see by her body language that this is effective. I'd love to completely neutralize that right arm! GRRRRRR!

You learn from notes, you know like studying for a test...? Same applies for inside the ring, knowing your opponent / rival.. Weak spots etc :)

I get free and away but my liberation does not last long. The youngster is up quickly and attacking, this time with a nerve claw that is well applied and timely. I was unable to stand in order to avoid this and with Gabi leaning into it, on my knees I stay. The tingle begins and travels down to my fingertips, my arm weakening and numbing quickly. Since the bearhug I have been able to get nothing going and the match continues to tip farther toward my opponent. I lift my right arm weakly testing it and begin to wonder if I have a chance at this point. I wouldn't call it hopeless but I'm fading against a big, strong and increasingly skilled beauty.

Joanie now seems to be giving up. On her knees, perhaps spent, taking whatever I choose to give. The nerve claw after this amount of time has to have compromised her right arm so I let go and move on. But to what shall I move? Hmmmmmm . . . I tried a "medium finish" earlier but she kicked out twice. While I think, I switch to a reverse chinlock. I take her head in my arms and trap her chin in the crux of my left elbow. I take my left wrist in my right hand and tighten the hold, placing my weight on her and jabbing my right knee into her spine. There is no fight from her. Either she is that tough or the end is near. But what to do to end the match?

From one good hold to the next and I am about defenseless. My right arm dangles and trying to pull on your arms wrapped around my head with my left hand is pointless. I'm on my knees, bent at the waist and air is at a premium. My head begins to swim again, the ropes are so far away. I am trapped and fading. My left arm drops to my side as my right already is and there is quite a buzz from the crowd. They know it's over or close and it's now a matter of when and how. I could submit and get it over but that is just not in my DNA. I do all I can to push my butt up off the mat but my legs cannot hold the weight and I sink again. I slap back at Gabi's left side but they are meaningless taps. Meanwhile I am fading ...

A few signs of life in the form of pulling at my arms, a rise with her once mighty legs and a couple love taps signal my level of control. Any other woman might cause me to finish the affair in a more grand fashion but again, respect. I need a strong finish but not an overtly flashy or cocky one. What to do, what to do? Then, I decide. Let's just transition one more time. She can submit or fade into oblivion - I'll leave that up to her. I press both knees into the canvas and with her head locked up tightly, I heave myself backward, pulling Joanie's heavy body on top of mine. I end up on my back and she ends up lying on me. I slip my legs around her waist and lock my ankles, then roll us to the right so we are facing the manager. I let go of her head and squeeze, looking at the guy running the joint. He can see both our faces and has the option to ring the bell if he thinks it's over, yet he waits. He must see something in Joanie's face that keeps him from stopping the match. I simply ramp up the pressure, waiting for the end which cannot be more than seconds away.

Under Gabi's complete control, she rolls us to our right sides and I land like a 237 pound sack of potatoes. I make eye contact with the manager and mouth "no" but even I don't know what I mean. The pressure on my body is indescribable quite honestly. I've been in some strong scissors in my long career but these legs make even my body nearly disappear. Ropes? No. I try to scoot with my legs but get no traction. This is no light or middleweight. There is no dragging Gabi around. My left hand goes to her meaty left thigh and rests there. I can feel her tightening and I am beginning to see stars and spots and double. With what will be my last conscious thought and action of the match, I pivot my left hand on the heel of the palm and tap or actually pat out my submission. The bell rings and the huge pillars in which I am trapped relax. My left arm rests across her thigh and I lie there, unwilling and unable to move. I see everyone standing, giving the champ her due.

I watch and wait but not for long. Joanie taps out. Wait - I have to think about that again - Joanie taps out and the bell rings. I loosen my legs taking the pressure off and begin to move the big woman from between my legs. I place my left foot in about the middle of her back and press gently, pulling my right leg out from under her. I ease away and sit up, arms raised. There is quite an ovation - one of the best I have ever received. I'm sure part of it goes to Big Momma as she gave a great performance. I get to my knees and then stand, arms still raised, taking a partial victory lap. I stop and wait for my friend and opponent to be ready to rise and I want to help her. I want to walk out of the ring with both of us on our feet.

Finally free of leg jail, I am able to breathe. I flop to my back, chest rising and falling. I wipe the sweat from my face but it reforms immediately. The air is cool and with each breath I can make it deeper. I am hardly refreshed but after a short while I sit up and there is Gabi offering me her hands. I should get up under my own power but that may take a while so I reach up, offering my hands and she takes them. With relative ease, she helps me to my feet and pulls me into a sweet hug. There was a day when I would have won this match just as decisively but that was many moons ago. I'm sure we will wrestle again, but despite my best efforts, I doubt I can beat Gabi, The Big Beauty.

I hug the momma grizzly and then, standing to her right, lift her right arm high. I hold it up for several seconds, then lower it gently, letting it go and blowing some kisses to the crowd. I exit the ring to another ovation and cannot but help but wonder what Joanie was like at her very best. We'll never know how a match would have gone then but it may have been her lifting my weak arm at the end. This may have been my best fought match to date. I'm thrilled but I try to keep my pride in check. Tomorrow is another day and there will be more and more tough opponents soon.

Oh - sorry I missed this one until now. Could have been a little rougher (okay, a lot rougher) for my tastes but still, a very good pro wrestling match. Who gets the winner? Or the loser for that matter?
