Title: Question about Commissions
Post by: billdozer152 on October 12, 2017, 06:24:00 AM
Does anyone know of anyone that can do realistic artwork or 3d renderings of actual people? I have not had much luck.

I once paid a guy to draw two pages for me - took two years and they looked like a second grader had drawn them. But the stuff he had on his page looked great - turns out it was other people's work. Just be very careful. Easy to get scammed.

It is a common problem for comic book art commissions too. A lot of people are tracers and some make good money at it. One of the more infamous ones : http://comicsalliance.com/rob-granito-scam-artist/

Hi Billdozer152.  I use thecatzman for my commission work.  I think his renders are spectacular and set the bar for excellence.  His prices are quite reasonable.  Tell him Catwriter sent you.   Regards,   Catwriter.

If your still looking for an artist you can check out my work at

While I mostly do comic book parodys I have done several commissions with request for life like or likeness drawings. Attached is sample of a rqested pose and a likness that was provided from a somewhat blurry picture but the client stated the likeness was spot on and was satisfied. The second one was rendered in photoshop

Hi Crom; are you still accepting commissions and do those prices still hold?

Fast, excellent 3D renders by Anubisx.  All that at an excellent price per render.   Catwriter

Been searching for someone myself.  I have someone in mind, found on deviantart.  His work looks awesome but it comes at price.

Kevin Karstens is both reliable and does excellent work - very easy to work with, too. He has my highest recommendation.
