I've been watching Vulcanbird's "Big Revenge" armwrestling tourney with great interest, but it looks like its never going to get off the ground. So I'm hosting my own!
If you're an elite musclechick who wants to risk their ego in a showdown of raw muscle, let me know. As soon as we have eight eligible competitors, I'll start the brackets and get the tourney started!

Well, as of now (scroll back), you and Anna are the only entrants. Two competitors is not a tournament.
And as a reminder to all reading this thread, this is an armwrestling tournament... not a fighting tourney.

Excellent! We have our Elite Eight! I'll set up the brackets in the next day or two, and we'll begin this Ego Breaker armwrestling tournament.

The winners will move on to the next round, and losers take their second rate muscles home. That's why we call this the ego-breaker tournament. I'm flattered you keep direct messaging me saying you want to fight me, but this is an armwrestling tournament. Every time we've tried to role play a contest of strength, you keep trying to turn it into a fight. With only so many spaces available in the tournament format, I have limited it to women I'm fairly certain can role play an armwrestling match up. Maybe I'll do a fighting tournament in the future.

We be patient and hope for the best. Most of the women haven't even logged on to either Trillian of FCF since they volunteered for the tournament. A couple that have haven't returned my messages. It will probably go the way of your tourney or Vulcannightbird's. If the competitors are only logging on one hour a month, the odds of them being online at the same time are vanishingly small.
But I remain hopeful that there will be a spike in activity once the word reaches the competitors that the tourney is now active. We'll have to wait and see.

I've been trying to get ahold of Kryss since the schedule was published. No answer so far. And we had spoken just the day before, too.

And I've been trying to reach Cass. Hopefully she'll log onto FCF or Trillian and see we're waiting on her. I'm eager to see if she can back up the talk against REAL muscle.

I was hoping a few of the contestants would log in over the holiday weekend. No such luck. But I hold out a sliver of hope this tourney will move forwards, as most of the girls entered all at once (literally within a few hours of each other).

Hmmm. Cass logged into FCF this morning, but did not respond to either my FCF or Trillian messages. Bummer. I was hoping to find out if her reputation is really all that.
