I am from time to time active but it has appeared to me that most here are interested in the stranger fetishes than fvf and I get fewer visits than most it seems so I tend to post other places.

I've only posted one thread a while back but am active.  I've started a DeviantArt account with my art: http://oldandjinxed.deviantart.com/

I'll try to post my art here more often, if you guys want.  I've just recently had time to work on it.

I'm active, and pictures I've created can be seen on my profile. I'll stay active, as illustrating women fighting is something I love doing.

I consider myself to be active here as well, though it is usually a good few weeks at least between my update posts due to time constraints. My artwork can be found throughout the forum here and at my totally free site: Girlfight Artwork Federation (http://depicticus.x10.bz).

Some new content should be up within another week or so hopefully.

just a suggestion to all artists. try and not put your work on deviantart cause it censors pics if there's like any sexual stuff going on in them

Or they could actually read the rules of that site and make an informed decision.

http://www.deviantart.com/?q=mature+content+rules

Also realize there is a difference between mature content and pornography. The latter is not allowed there but outside of a sexfight artist, i can't see much that a female fight artist might run afoul there. But all of it will likely be labelled mature content (because it depicts violence) and mature content tends to be not accessible to a non member. But anyone can become a member.i am and I can't draw a damn thing. And if you can't see much in that link I posted, well become a member :)

The short version : DA doesn't allow sexual intercourse, erections, sex toys or minors in provocative positions to be displayed. (If you are wanting to do the last one, you aren't too welcome at FCF either)

I don't go to Deviant Art pages because ever so often I get told that this or that picture is censored. I don't bother anymore. So if you're an artist and you want to share your work you have to think about the best way to do it. I don't think Deviant Art is the place for it. And please don't bring child pornography into the discussion. I don't think anyone here is into that or wants to go there

1. Do you have an alternative to DA in mind? It is one thing to go "Me no like", quite another to have a suggestion where else these artists should go. Plenty of artists have done fine there, so what would you suggest?

2. As stated, if you aren't logged into DA, you don't see mature content. Lots of sites do this. Many artists there willingly put that label on their work to save themselves and the site grief. Some artists would like only adults to see their work. That is why the mature content filter on that site is ON for non members. Saves them getting a letter from some angry parent whose 10 year old saw a naked person. If you wish to see everything on that site, log in. It is not exactly a tough thing to do. If that is too much work for you then fine, but don't make the site sound like it is filled with pictures no one can see.

For example this http://k9joe.deviantart.com/art/Topless-65090020 has a mature filter on. But i see it when logged on my account (where I have the filter turned off).

3. Don't make false accusations. I quoted the rules of a site so artists don't falsely think that site hates nudity or all eroticism. Hardly bringing a subject into the discussion. Forgive me for assuming members of this site are capable of receiving information.

Thank you!  I'm glad.  Sadly, I'm away on a business trip right now because I've been wanting to draw some catfight or wrestling art like no one's business.  Oh well - I get home Tuesday.  I'll have to wait until then (if you have requests, let me know).

As for people not being fans of DeviantArt, I can understand but, honestly, I get why you have to be logged in to see mature content.  That doesn't bother me at all.  We live in a litigation society and they have to do what they have to do.  I do label almost all of my art mature, even the stuff that could probably be okay, just to be safe.

As nutmeg78 said, if there are alternate sites, I'm happy to hear them.  I'd cheerfully set up a mirror of my DA account elsewhere to increase people's viewing options.

I would love to see a good hair pulling match maybe between a brunette and a blonde or redhead. Maybe t they rip some clothes while they are at it. I do enjoy your style.

One the the reasons I decided a while back to create my own simple website for my artwork rather than post to places like Deviant or Yahoo groups, was not so much the censorship issue but the fact that you had to uplaod each image individually, one at a time. When you're trying to post a new match that has around 60 frames to it, that becomes very tedious and time-consuming. With the website I just FTP-connect and upload them all with one mouse click.

It's been a few years since I last checked, and maybe by now they've changed the interface at places like Deviant to allow easier multiple-pic uploads at once, but in any event it's just about as quick a process to register at a free webhost as it is to sign up at an existing image repository. Nothing preventing one from doing both I suppose.

I'n still active too I post my stuff on Deviant Art and most is labelled mature content, I don't post much here because I am too lazy to add the descriptions to the pics and repost it all takes time and time is the one resource in short supply. But here are some pics from recent sets I have done.

I'm probably dating myself here, but I seem to remember some excellent catfight art by someone who signed their works "Lisa," if I remember correctly.  Her works were done in pencil, or perhaps charcoal (I'm no artist, so I'm not sure of the medium).

As to where I saw her drawings, my memory fails me completely.  Perhaps the old Nugget or Swank magazines?  Those old publications featured quite a few catfight articles back in the 70's and early 80's.  Nugget, in particular, used to have several letters from readers regarding their catfights, or fights the readers witnessed.

What impressed me most about this artist's work was the fantastic detail in the facial expressions of the women involved.  This wasn't 3D or computer art (didn't exist back then??), rather the works were hand drawn, and extremely realistic.

Also, I may be imagining more than actually existed, but I don't remember seeing many drawings by "Lisa," and only a couple stick in my mind.  Are there any other "old timers" out there that know what I'm referring to??

I'm an old timer wasteland, and I saw many magazines in the seventies and eighties with cat fight drawings. Usually by prolific illustrators like Eneg, Stanton, Saja etc, and lesser known ones like Milo, but I don't recall Lisa. If she was particularly good at facial detail and expression I'd love to see her work, as I try to get that good in mt art, I think it's vital for good cat fight illustrating.

Here's something that I believe fits under the heading of "artists."

I remembered from long ago, perhaps 30 years ago, a miniature fantasy model of two girls fighting.  I saw a pic in an advertisement in a model magazine (not female models, rather hobby model building), of a 54mm metal model titled Satyr with Fighting Girls.  I remembered it was by an outfit called Phoenix.  Like an idiot, I didn't buy the model at that time, and I don't believe I ever saw it advertised again.  But I always wondered what happened to the model.

In doing some recent internet research, I found this site, http://www.forty-third.co.uk/32_phoenix_fantasy.htm, which features various models of a line called The Lost World of Atlantis.  Scroll down to A39, and you can see a pic of the model.  It shows two very buxom young women, one atop the other, legs intertwined, pulling hair, and a Satyr standing over them with an oil vessel, ready to pour the oil over the fighters.

I note the post appears to be from 2011, so I don't know whether this model is still available.  I plan to contact this site, and see if it's still for sale.  It's rather expensive, 27 pounds, approx. $60 US (I think??), so I don't think I can justify the purchase.  But I wanted you all to know about it.

Do any of you "old timers" remember this?  Does anyone out there have this?
