Title: Inserting pictures in a personal message

I've seen it done, but can't figure out how (OK, so I'm a blonde, give me a break  :)).  Starting from "Send this member a personal message.", the next is the send message page, with a white space box.  How do you insert pictures in there?  Thank you.
