RihannaIt was difficult to understand how these four women had earned such reputations as "jobbers", for in their Four Way Dance, each displayed impeccable wrestling skill. Perhaps it was simply pure dumb luck which relegated each of them more often as not to the Losers column in the record book.
However, one thing was certain: One of these four young women would emerge with a shiny 'W' from this battle. And for that alluring prize, each battle with all she had in her.
Alliances were made and shattered in the span of mere heartbeats as the quartet fought. Eventually, the tides of fortune began to favor two of the four.
On one side of the ring, Avril had managed to tie up the larger Taylor in the ropes, trapping her while the Canadian punched, choked and stomped the blonde. Withering under this brutal assault, Swift was soon driven into semi-consciousness.
Simultaneously, Katy had managed to trap Rihanna in the opposite corner in a Tree of War, smothering her opponent into helplessness with a Bronco Buster. Two wrestlers down.
Turning their attention to each other, Katy and Avril locked eyes. Then Lavigne with a banshee's shout rushed at her rival, then hurled herself into the air to execute a Flying Cross. However, anticipating this move (it was a favored maneuver from Avril), Perry braced her feet and, with a heavy grunt, managed to catch her attacker in her arms! With a roar of her own, Katy spun around, planting the blonde to the canvas with a ring-shaking bodyslam.
As Lavigne lay on the mat moaning, the raven-haired songstress quickly clambored up the nearest turnbuckle. Precariously balancing herself upon the top ropes, Katy then flung herself into the ether, twisting her body in mid-air and delivering a devastating bodysplash that brought the fans cheering to their feet.
As the rules stipulated that three of the women must be pinned before the winner can be declared, Perry then unhooked Rihanna from her corner and freed Taylor from the ropes, dragging each badly dazed beauty and throwing them atop the equally demolished Avril's splayed body. Katy then planted a boot atop this pile of beaten adversaries and let the referee count ONE...TWO...THREE!
