Hello to all fans,
In 2019 we are planning to devote a section of our website at Rockin-Roxanne.com (http://Rockin-Roxanne.com) to pay tribute to those in the industry we have lost over the years and could very much use the help of fans who may have first had knowledge regarding those in the industry who have passed.
As many of you know, we specialize in rare and hard to find female wrestling, boxing and mixed matches and with many items being several decades old, we have sadly become aware that some of people who have helped shape the industry are no longer with us. We know of some, such as Mildred Burke and Judell Dulong, but it's our hope that many of the older fans on this forum are aware of many that we are not aware of.
We are also interested not just in our favorite women who have passed but also those on the male side and the producers side, as we would like to be a premier resource to acknowledge and pay tribute to those who have passed and their contributions to the industry.
So if anyone out there is aware of anyone who has passed on, it would be appreciated if you could email me at
rox@rockin-roxanne.com (or reply to this post) with not only the names of anyone who is no longer with us, but also any details, such as where and when they passed and at what age should you know that info..
With your help we hope to have add a section Memorizing those who have been part of our industry in February 2019.

Just discovered actress and catfighter, Teal Roberts died in 2017. She starred in and had prominent roles in the movies Fatal Games and Hard bodies and had a few catfight/wrestling matches for Golden Girls and Steelkittens. I always thought she was absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

I remember Teal Roberts from Hardbodies. She was beautiful. She fought and loss a pro style match to Belinda Belle. She was 55.

The only two topless matches I've seen of her were from Golden Girls. Apparently she didn't film many matches for any company. What led me to randomly look her up was a cameo she had as a stripper in Beverly Hills Cop 2 ;D I was shocked and saddened to find out she passed at only 55 years of age.

Sadly, one of my favorites, Margaret McCamick, known as Maggie passed away in May 2020 in a tragic car accident. She worked for ECNWC, ECC, and others. A real scrapper and gave it her all. Her cf with Hollie Dunaway for ECNWC is the cf that I have most wanted, but will probably never see. Bob, Hollie, and Maggie all told me that it was a tough match.

I knew about the others but hearing this new case about Mia Split was sad. Being someone myself who's been battling chronic depression for years now knows how it feels to just wanna give up sometimes. If unchecked that feeling of "f*** this" hits harder than a brick and can be triggered at anytime. My message to any and everyone is KEEP FIGHTING! You never know what tomorrow holds.
Here is one of my favorite movie speeches....
