Small Town Event:
I was nervous as I made the long drive across the state to see Charlene. We worked together several years ago and were great friends but after I left the company and she moved we fell out of touch. Despite their disdain for each other they did have some mutual friends including a woman named Tina who was drinking with Laquita (the new wife) one day when Charlene's name came up. Laquita talked smack long enough about Charlene and got fired up enough to say that she wanted to fight her to settle their dispute once and for all. Tina convinced Laquita to back up her words and she did so by calling Charlene and challenging her to a fight. Charlene told me she accepted without hesitation and they agreed to settle things in a few weeks right before Charlene was going on vacation. (Which would give her recovery time before going back to work) They would meet on a Saturday afternoon and the original plan was for only Tina to be present for this fight. The original plan went down the drain as when word leaked out of the upcoming fight it was as if two kids were fighting after school, everybody that knew them wanted to be there. Charlene’s ex-husband Jim was really looking forward to the fight, so much so that he bitched that he only wished Charlene was married so he could kick her husband's ass while his wife kicked hers. His arrogant talk drove Charlene crazy enough that she promised to bring a date and if he was dumb enough to interfere with her fight that her date would kick his ass. Now it wasn't as if she couldn't find a date anytime she wanted as she was very attractive but to find one who would fight her ex if necessary required just the right person. The crowd was already drinking despite it being only a little after lunch and they were fired up for a fight so when Tina asked both women if they were certain they wanted to do this the crowd was buzzing in anticipation.

“Lets go cxnt." was Charlene's stoic reply.
I couldn't believe I was there, getting ready to watch this catfight and maybe even fighting myself. The two women walked slowly towards each other and the crowd got very quiet but from the first simultaneous punch the crowd came alive and the brawl was on.
Both women grabbed hair in their left hand and swung wildly with the right, hitting each other with a few good shots, including a shot to Laquita's jaw that made her let go and twist away. Now more cautious they went in again but this time swung with both hands as they tried to knock their foe out with wild punches. Neither connected much when Laquita backed off again to catch her breath as both women panted heavily. Jim startled me by jumping out of his chair and I almost fell as I did the same. He stopped at his wife and rubbed her shoulders saying, “You can beat this whore baby. Hey, you sit down mother fucker before I make you!"
"Fuck off." I confidently yelled back as I kissed Charlene on the neck saying. “You are so hot right now, kick her ass!"
“Come on bitch, tell your limp dicked husband to sit down. This is our fight cxnt!" Charlene yelled.
"Watch your mouth slut!" Jim growled back. I thought it might blow up then but Laquita motioned him to sit so he did, and I did as well. Laquita flexed her hands as she walked towards Charlene who figured on another slugfest but Laquita had other ideas. “You wanna do this mother fucker?" He yelled as he got to his feet. I stood there shaking inside but confident with my fists raised, I looked at Charlene who was now sitting up smiling from ear to ear. She wanted to see her ex get his ass kicked and I was ready to do just that.
“You will never lay a finger on her again mother fucker." I said.
“Fuck you pussy boy." Jim said in a cocky tone as Laquita also looked on telling her husband to shut my mouth up. The women were not even thinking about their fight at the moment as they were excited for our battle. I was in black swim trunks and Jim in red, both sweating in the heat we stared at each other waiting for the first move.
"You are dead fucker!' Jim shouted as ran forward with fists flying. I was ready, almost excited as we met face to face with the crowd now around us, throwing wild punches trying to hurt each other to defend our women's honor. The next part of this free for all was on and the crowd was fired up again. Both of us threw wild punches that hit only less than half the time. Neither of us were real experienced fighters which made the brawl as even as the girl's was. Jim got the first advantage with a good shot that caught me square in the jaw; I stumbled a bit and went to one knee. He then grabbed my head in a headlock and started twisting it which made me feel like my head was being ripped off. I responded with two solid fists to his lower back which caused him to let go and back away. I rubbed my head, my fingers sliding through my sweat drenched hair when still on one knee I got a flash of Jim darting towards me. I swung with a solid fist and before he could pound me with an overhead shot aimed at my head I caught him flush in the ribs with a solid blow. I then dove forward and wrapped him up around the thighs tackling my rival to the ground. We struggled for position when I was able to position myself behind him and I caught him in a leg scissors around his aching rib area. I locked my bare feet and squeezed as much as I could while delivering glancing punches to his face as I could not hit with much force because he was right up against me. He moaned in pain but just when I thought he may give he tried to catch a second wind and pounded his fist on the meat of my thighs. The crowd was going crazy as the drinks were now plentiful and the crowd was ready for more. Jim panted heavily sitting on the ground as Laquita crawled by his side. I was trying to catch my breath as well when Charlene walked slowly to me and helped me up. The crowd sensed the brawl was not finished and yelled for us to continue.
The fight had spilled out of the front area of the yard and Charlene and I now stood side by side staring at our rivals. Jim and Laquita had walked towards the back of the yard trying to catch their breath and walk off some of the soreness. Both women were nude, scratched and bruised from their battle, still soaked in sweat despite their short rest period during our fight. The scene was so surreal, I was sore all over, exhausted to near collapse but I never have felt more alive. Charlene and I walked at first but then looked at each other and ran the last several steps as we met our rivals face to face. I slugged Jim once more but he was not even struggling now so I just watched Charlene who had a much more humiliating victory planned.
