Title: Ex-NFL Cheerleader fights MMA
Post by: watchourwivesfight on August 13, 2014, 07:30:36 PM
I found this article online yesterday.

http://www.foxsports.com/kansas-city/story/ex-chiefs-cheerleader-wray-says-mma-loss-was-the-same-feeling-as-dying-071514

Pretty interesting.

The fight clip on the first link is not very good, but i found this second link to a better fight.

If you google Rachel Wray, you can find plenty more clips on youtube

Actually, Rachel had less blood on her than her opponent Nadia Nixon did.  If it had been a streetfight/barfight, Rachel would have won.

This was a really good and exciting fight to watch, from a catfight fetishists point of view - vicious, competitive and fought by at least one hot chick. It's three rounds of two chicks punching and kicking each other, ultimately to a bloody, bruised mess. They didn't have to fight like that though. Both girls need more training. They lacked takedown skills and groundwork. Rachel had no ground work whatsoever just a pretty face, nice jugs and a tight butt. Learn some groundwork Rachel. Might save you from such a nasty fight in future.

Is it just me, or was each girl admiring the damage she had done after each blow connected?

I wonder if Rachel enjoys telling her boyfriend about fighting.

I hope that Rachel will continue to fight in MMA. As for the novice athlete, she is ok and she has a great fighting spirit. It was a hot fight two hot girls.

You know in Rhonda's last fight she defeated her opponent in 16 seconds.  I don't think the cheerleader would last 10 seconds against Rhonda.

Of course she wouldn't.  She is an amateur, Rhonda has YEARS of training.

Rachel is an incredibly hot chick that is willing to fight!!!  Don't put her down, support her

She's too green for Rousey. Give her a couple of years and a lot more fights under her belt before she even thinks of making that challenge.

Exactly. Meanwhile, let she fights with rivals with similar skills and expands skills. If she is not discourage, in a few years she will meet Ronda in the octagon.

I have a huge amount of respect for Rachel Wray or anyone that is willing to step up and fight, that said putting her anywhere near Ronda Rousey at any point in her career would be a mistake.

Rachel fought another black girl since the bloody fight with Nadia. As usual Rachel looked gorgeous, her opponent not so, looked like a guy.  Her opponent blitzed her with a strong standup attack. Rachel clinched, took it to the ground and walked right into a guillotine choke.  The referee screwed up, Rachel was choked out, put to sleep. The Reff was much too slow recognizing what had happened. Rachel could have been killed, she hasn't fought since.    Here is the link to the video.                                https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=rachel+wray+vs+jamie+clinton

Any referee that lets that shit go on is a dirtbag and should lose his license.

this was good, showy, untrained armature action. It is good, but only a small piece of what a real fight is.
It was a good fight in the fact that they both went at each other, and could take the hits.  BUT -- talk real fight quality, and there was almost no defense, not much body movement, no ground game or even the attempt to take in down. It was what the fetish watcher looks for- which is fine, bu real limited, unreal far as RL fight goes,  The lack of real training showed, they came to fight! but even the players were limited in what they saw as possible.

Game fighters, fit, like to fight, but really don't have the skills. Yes, I'm talking from the RL view,  not the fetish. People watching TV/vids, esp those who have never and would never do this love to see lost of throwing and blood.   But, I can tell ya (yes experience talking) that the nose is the main fountain of blood - bang the nose and it gives a great show, with little damage-- and not even tons of pain compared to other hits. Thee two had some eye damage showing, and that is much more telling of a real fight. I wsant to see rough, but more skilled and 'fight-like' fights.

Doing defense in a fight doesn't make the best fight in a movie - only if yer in the fight you sure try to do it. Mostly banging away is what people think of as a fight here, and in cyber will  say they run up n slug you. what? do I stand there like a statue, and not move? Not even throw an arm up to block a fist sailing in at me? Even in fantasy, and vids, if you want anything at all like real action, this was serious no training armature action, and it showed that. Guys, try to find the pleasure of knowing and watching the real deal, just say'n.

I don't think any of us guys would get as much pleasure from watching "the real deal" as we get from watching a gorgeous creature like Rachel doing her thing, whatever you want to call it.
Maybe after two defeats she will now forget about MMA and take up another form of combat sport, where her obvious talents would be more appreciated.
What an awesome submission wrestler, or rules catfighter, that girl would make.
