No "Queen of the beach" this year?

It WOULD be a great way to end the summer.
Let's hear from anyone who's interested in RUNNING it; or WRITING for it; or just wants someone else to do all the work!!

I haven't written too many stories before but I could probably chip in a story or two if there are other writers contributing.
I'd be down to contributing a few stories for sure, but I don't really have the time to actually run it though! If we had a few more writers, I'd love to see it happen. :)

If it's a titfight tournament I think I could do a story, other fighting styles don't turn my creativity on enough. :-\
Doesn't matter to me if it is with celeb competitors or fcf members. :)

I could set it all up, but might have conflicting schedules with the Celebrity Sexfight League concerning polls, since we are only allowed to do one poll at a time.

Its a ton of work and I had a ton of help...
The art and stories are extremely time consuming
I recently became a first time father and just dont have the free time to do it this year
If you guys are interested I could create a 2018 bracket of 16 contenders and book a tournament... give out finishes /winners to willing writers

How about we create a thread in the General section to nominate contenders. We create a poll with all names and allow people to vote for maybe 4 or 6 they would like to see in the tournament. The 16 fighters with the most votes make it into the tournament.
I can use https://challonge.com/ (https://challonge.com/) (already have an account and using it for tournaments) to create the bracket with the names (random match ups).

I think they take drama out of reading the story. Because you can see results of the poll. I think the twists and plotting is what made QOTB so cool.
I think it works better if i can guide the plot and give the volunteering writers sign posts of where to go... who is heel / who is face... who wins... what type of match etc and let their creativity take it home

You could set the polls up in a what you want isn't what you get format, with the voters cheering on who they want to win (and perhaps getting referenced in terms of the crowd support within the story), but has about as much effect on the out come as cheering in any other contest.

It's too bad this storyline has been abandoned more than once after promising starts. This was one of the few stories I was still interested in on here...
