Matilda of Flanders and Matilde de Boulogne and Matilda of Scotland were IRL 12th century warrior princesses.

So the name Matilda has a bona fide lineage.

Very, very sorry to hear this.  She was truly a pioneer and one of a kind.   Her resume was amazing and she was always popping up on TV or in a film or video.  Quite a stage presence and personality!  I even had a brief email exchange with her once and found her to be very accommodating.

Thanks for the post.

Just got word another legend passed. RIP Candy Devine not only a pro wrestling great but dabbled in session wrestling towards the end of her career.

That's too bad.  I would imagine that she was quite young.  Sorry to hear this.

I am deeply saddened about the passing of Deanna Booher.

I've worked in RTF all of my life, and have had brief contact with her regarding potential film projects that never panned out.

I can, however say, that she was always kind, down to earth and honest with me.... even if I didn't like it.

She will be missed....
