The Start of fights
« on: August 21, 2022, 06:55:00 PM »
I imagine, like most people here, particularly those of advanced years,  the only real fights I see are on the net.  Even these new fights seem to have lessened in frequency and number.   I lways feel short changed if the fight has already begun.  The start sets the mood and builds the excitement.
On a programme showing court cases. (real cases with real people), occasionally the case involves women claiming they've been assaulted or were fighting.   One lady wishing to prove the aggressive nature of her foe stated she had chest bumped her.  On another day a lady stated 'we both chest bumped and then started fighting'.  Chest bumping seems to be more common between women now and seems to be the ultimate challenge. Two women ramming their breasts is arousing to say the least.

Another start often seen in clashes when girls don't want confrontation.  Any minor rift between is often latched onto by more dominant girls.  Before they know a fight has been arranged.   Face to face only because of peer group pressure, it is obvious neither want this and it looks as though nothing will happen.  At this point two ladies come up behind the protagonists and push them together.   This is what I don't understand and would be grateful if anyone has witness such a start could explain it.  Neither girl wants to fight. Both girls know others have shoved them together, yet as soon as they touch, they fight.

Sometimes it's like a reluctant swimmer or skydiver jump needing a push.  The girl might not realize she's holding back.

The golden age of cellphone catfights was 20007-2011, when they'd get posted to YouTube but NOT Facebook/Snapchat.  Sometomes 'Courtney vs Britney' would be spelled 'C0urtney vs Britney' to keep parents and principals from finding it.

[The best fight I ever saw was Courtney vs Courtney--lots of Courtney's used to fight back then.]

I wish it was 2010 again--for a lot of reasons.
