DKBfb1, that's fascinating. Thanks for that link. It makes you wonder how many other catfights might have happened in movies had the director or producer not objected.
No problem wasteland1952. The more I think about this the worse it gets., It is (to me) quite possibly the biggest disappointment in movie history. With all the ingredients for a legendary catfight It had so much potential yet tragically failed to deliver. 100% failed!
1. Director calls for ACTION.
2. Farrah Fawcett and Jenny Agutter give him action. They roll around tearing into each other's hair, taking turns at being on top and pinning/crushing/grinding their opponent beneath them. They do an incredible job taking the art of movie catfighting to a whole new level, raising the bar for future generations of aspiring actresses.
3. Director yells "CUT!!"
4. Jenny//Farrah stop and ask "What's wrong?"
5. Director "you're too convincing, it actually looks like you're fighting for real"
6. Jenny/Farrah "what?"
7. Director "it's too real"
8. Jenny/Farrah "it's called acting"
9. Director "but it's too good"
10 Jenny/Farrah "so how will we do it right?"
11. Director "it's okay we'll do without this scene"
12. Me/us (years later) "NOOOOOOOO!!!"

Which movies do you think two actresses may have come close to a real catfight?
