NANCY NOVAk



Nancy Novak wrestled both women and men. She is best known known as a fetish style wrestler in the 70's and 80's.
Many fans will recognize Nancy as one of the most dominant wrestlers out there in her time. She had particularly
powerful thighs which she used for headscissors and to assist her with a reverse school-girl pin, or as some know it,
"face-sitting". She also used lots of smother type holds. Nancy was born in 1947 and stood 5 foot 7 inches and
weighed in at 150 pounds.

Nancy wrestled for companies such as Joan Wise and Carolina Catfights and for many years ran her own company
called Video Vortex which was around in the 1980's. Now in her 70's Nancy's current whereabouts is unknown.

I went down the rabbit hole one evening of trying to figure out what happened to her as she was a favorite of mine back in the day. She lived for many years in Incline Village, NV on Lake Tahoe with her (at least second) husband who was a professional clown on the side. She actually helped him do events from time to time. They are divorced at this point though and she currently lives in Texas, but is alive and well as best I know. Nancy Novak is her real maiden name, not a stage name. The photo attached is from about 15 years ago.
