1970s Sex Symbol Tournament Round 10 Set 1
« on: January 02, 2011, 08:40:57 PM »
In wake of Glamour Fights' closing his 1950s poll, here is the next round of the 1970 edition. Special thanks to Glamour Fights himself for providing some of these pics! Contrary to the previous round, I'd put up some of more equally matched pairings allthough one or two blow out is still on the cards probably.

{alt} {alt}
LINDA HARRISON (Age: 34; 5'6" / 12th 6-3) vs MARGOT KIDDER (Age: 31; 5'6.5" / 28th 1-8)
After a truly shocking loss to Pamela Tiffin, Linda Harrison has demanded to be the placed in the opening fight of Round 10 - I want to make amends for that previous slip up, Pamela got so lucky that I fell off the diving board, but there will be no luck involved here. Well, Margot Kidder will be lucky if she doesn't get knocked out! But Margot has other ideas - Losing to Pamela Tiffin? You gotta be kiddin' me! This Harrison bitch must be helluva overrated if she loses to such wimps! I'm much stronger then Tiffin, so I guess that makes me the favourite here!

{alt} {alt}
CHERYL LADD (Age: 28; 5'4" / 4th 9-0) vs SONIA BRAGA (Age: 29; 5'2" / 23rd 2-7)
Another angry woman is Cheryl Ladd whom some of the experts called "overrated" - Those people will change their mind once I beat Sonia Braga up! She's quite a tough cookie, you know, but I'll trash her anyway, just wait and see! However Sonia doesn't believe Cheryl has what it takes to beat her - Lets see, Cheryl is a weak and overrated bimbo and I'll have fun tossing her around! I have no idea why she's still undefeated, I must set this record straight!

{alt} {alt}
VALERIE LEON (Age: 36; 5'11" / 18th 3-6) vs CAROL LYNLEY (Age: 37; 5'6" / 8th 8-1)
This could be one of the most vicious fight od the entire round - You bet it will be! - Valerie is quick to point out some things - Those stupid blondes are making me angry and when I'm angry, I'm kicking the shit out of them and this will be no excpetion. However Carol Lynley differs the opinion - That's quite some talk for such a weak bitch! I'll chop her down quickly and rip all her hair out, just ask Debbie Harry what she thinks of my skills!

{alt} {alt}
SONDRA LOCKE (Age: 32; 5'4" / 26th 2-7) vs EDINA RONAY (Age: 35; 5'4" / 16th 4-5)
Both these blondes match each other in size and could well provide a furious action. Sondra isn't too concerned about her poor record and vows some of the experts to show some respect for her - That's right, folks, either you're all blind or want a home visit from Clint... you all know who Clint is, don't you? So, you better make my day or go to hell! In fact, I'm going to beat the hell out of this bleached blonde and there will be no mercy shown her to anyone! Meanwhile Edina Ronay looks less then concerned about Sondra's comments - Looks like she's ready to get her ass kicked, I've torn apart weak blondes before and even some stronger ones too! Just ask Chris Noel if she's bought a new wig already!

{alt} {alt}
JACQUELINE BISSET (Age: 35; 5'6.5" / 15th 4-5) vs CHRISTIE BRINKLEY (Age: 25; 5'9" / 1st 9-0)
Despite getting trashed by Lynda Carter, Jacqeline Bisset is still very confident before her next fight - OK, so I've heard this Christie girl is kind good in catfighting. Well, that's all talk and a lucky schedule. Her long hair will be a perfect target and I'll drag her around before I'm gonna dump her in the sea where she hopefully drowns or something! But Christie is still angry at Cybill Shepherd over the winning record and wants to regain that mark at Jacqueline's expense - Bisset, huh? She's an old slut and probably can't even swim. Once I dump her in the sea, we'll all see who is going to spit out her submission. You all know it's going to be her!

{alt} {alt}
INGRID STEEGER (Age: 32; 5'2" / 21st 3-6) vs PAMELA TIFFIN (Age: 37; 5'7" / 27th 1-8)
The petite built Ingrid Steeger barely recovered from being crushed by Christie Brinkley but thinks her chances of beating Pamela Tiffin look quite good - Well, there's this tall bitch Tiffin. She got a lucky break in the previous fight, but that's good, she had her win already and now it's back to the usual stuff and that is, Pamela Tiffin is everyone's punchbag, I'm more then capable of beating her up! However Pamela's confidence has risen dramatically after beating Linda Harrison - Everyone thinks I was lucky there with Linda, who cares? The more they underestimate me, the bigger are my chances of winning! This blonde dwarf should be worried already, I guess she's in need of some serious spanking!

{alt} {alt}
SUSAN DENBERG (Age: 35; 5'7" / 6th 9-0) vs CHRIS NOEL (Age: 38; 5'5" / 13th 6-3)
The undefeated Austrian is being challenged by another blonde, Chris Noel who is still livid after going down to Edina Ronay in a hairpulling contest - That was nothing! This Denberg slut has plenty of hair I can pull out so, I'll be back onto my winning ways once she whimpers her submission! But Susan Denberg laughs off those comments - I would have been more cautious when facing her, but after she got beaten by Edina Ronay, I know she's just another blonde wannabe who just doesn't deserve any credit here! My tenth victory is coming in a matter of moments and if she wants to mess up my hair, then I'll literally kick her brains out in response!

{alt} {alt}
JOANNA LUMLEY (Age: 33; 5'8" / 22nd 2-7) vs SUZY KENDALL (Age: 35; 5'4" / 25th 2-7)
Both these women share the fighting record however Suzy only barely lost out to Susan Denberg in the previous round while Joanna got humiliated by a much weaker opponent, Agnetha Faltskog. - That's old news, Suzy is going down here, no question about it! I'll rip her tits off and she won't be doing any modelling after that! - so much for Joanna's comments. - That's some sleezy bitching from that slut - Suzy isn't too afraid to make her presence - I see she's already smiling, but I will tear her apart instead. She's a real creampuff here and I'm going to prove it!

I will return the favor to Vasago and give my views on these fights. I had better do it before I go off and interview the Sex Symbols from the 1950s. Some of those sexy women aren't too happy with me and I might not escape with my scalp in tact.

Linda Harrison vs Margot Kidder: It seems every once in awhile Linda needs a wake up call as she thinks she can easily thrash anyone. She got it against Pamela and so Margot will be fodder for her. Margot may be thinking Linda is overrated but she will find out differently. Linda will inflict pain on every joint in Margot's body.

Cheryl Ladd vs Sonia Braga: I am in the camp that believe that Cheryl's fighting abilities in the minds of many greater exceed her real abilities. Nevertheless I am picking her over Sonia. If Sonia had a better record I might go the other way. Cheryl overcomes her lack of strength with quickness, agility and clever moves to keep Sonia off balance. Sonia tries to corner Cheryl but can't and Cheryl's greater stamina takes over as she pins the exhausted Sonia for a very narrow victory.

Valerie Leon vs Carol Lynley: Carol is strong and nasty, a winning combination. Valerie may get angry but an angry fighter is usually not a good fighter with a few exceptions. She is much taller than Carol and will try and move in close where she can dominate with her perceived stronger muscles. She will discover that Carol is stronger to her horror. It would have been better for Valerie to stay away and use her longer reach to slug Carol. Instead her anger to rip out the blonde's hair leads to her getting her own hair ripped out.

Sondra Lock vs Edina Ronay: I predict this will be the closest fight this round. In fact I had to double check who I voted for as my vote might change every time I voted. I voted for Sondra and not sure why. Perhaps I think it is because she will get moral support and advice from Clint. Maybe I was just scared an angry Clint would show up at my house. In any case there will be lots of evenly delivered slaps, hairpulling, and grappling.

Jacqueline Bisset vs Christie Brinkley I doubt if Christie will get the biggest beat down this time but there is a chance for it. Jacqueline forgets that she has long hair also or maybe she is dumber than a blonde, even one as stupid as Christie. Christie will never leave her feet as she drags Jacqueline all over the sand before hauling her off to the surf. Then she will leave her feet to sit on Jacqueline's back and make her eat a combination of salt water and sand.

Ingrid Steeger vs Pamela Tiffin: I figured Pamela would be full of confidence after her win over tough Linda and would mop up the floor with petite Ingrid. That is until I was stunned by the nude Ingrid and my mind did a flip-flop. I think Pamela will be equally bamboozled and will want nothing more than to be sexually ravage by Ingrid. She will pull Ingrid's luscious body on top of her own luscious one and be counted out in a pin before she knows what has happened. Note, my predictions after this may be all muddled unless my mind can recuperate.

Susan Denberg vs Chris Noel: Susan has the body to rival Ingrid and there is more of it (she's taller not fatter, stupid). But you can see my mind is still cattywhompus as I choose Chris to win. Susan is underestimating Chris after Chris loss to Edina and Chris wants revenge against her next foe to avenge her loss. Chris will just want it more and that counts for loads when it comes to a catfight. I hate to see so much blonde hair scattered around but most of it will be Susan's.

Joanna Lumley vs Suzy Kendall: I think that the New Avenger Joanna is greatly underrated. But I think Vasago's comment says it all. Joanna has shown great vulnerability after losing to a weaker opponent. Suzy's stock has risen after given the tough Susan a tough fight. Funny I should say that when I am predicting Susan will lose. Guess my mind is still really confused.

At least these polls were only languishing on page 2!

Linda Harrison beats Margo Kidder
It has been suggested that Linda Harrison occasionally loses due to lack of concentration. She was certainly overconfident against Pamela Tiffin and got her ass kicked. Linda is a woman who comes back with greater intensity and aggression after a loss wakes her up. Margot Kidder is only 1-8 but has the size and the ability to beat Linda. This will be a long, hard fought back and forth fight. Linda will want it more after her embarrassing loss to Pamela Tiffin (which I predicted by the way.)

Cheryl Ladd beaten by Sonia Braga
Sonia Braga is furious that she hasn’t gotten the respect she deserves. She is even more furious that Cheryl Ladd has gotten more respect than she deserves. That Latin temperament comes out full force and overwhelms Cheryl. The light 98 pound weakling is tossed around by Sonia like a rag doll or Barbie doll.

Valerie Leon beaten by Carol Lynley
Carol Lynley knows how to take Valerie Leon’s long legs out from under her. Unlike Farrah Fawcett against Loni Anderson Carol has the muscles and knowledge to keep Valerie guessing and under her. Two hands on Valerie’s throat will choke her semiconscious. Then Carol will face sit her to put her to sleep. I wouldn’t mind being put to sleep that way.

Sondra Locke beaten by Edina Ronay
It is a big mistake for Sondra Locke to have Clint Eastwood present to support her. Clint may give her some moral support and even some fighting advice. Ah, but Edina Ronay is one of those women who really gets up to beat up a woman in front of her male paramour. On top of that Edina listens to what Clint ells Sondra and so knows exactly what Sondra wants to do.  It is a hard fight but Edina seems to be a half step ahead of Sondra all the time.

Jacqueline Bisset beaten by Christie Brinkley
Christine Brinkley loves proving blondes have more fun beating up brunette’s. Christie won’t set any bean down records this time and is even in danger of losing her top spot as Jacqueline is tougher than many rivals she has faced.  Also once Jacqueline realizes she is no match for Christie she will start running around the beach to escape from Christie. Jacqueline is pretty fast but Christie is slightly faster. Christie will waste valuable fighting time trying to catch Jacqueline to down her in the sea.

Ingrid Steeger beats Pamela Tiffin
Call me inconsistent as you would think I would pick Pamela Tiffin after choosing her to beat Linda Hamilton. Linda does seem like a tougher foe than Ingrid. This time it is Pamela who is overconfident. She underestimates the much smaller Ingrid Steeger. The much quicker Ingrid is able to use Pamela’s hair to pull her into a headscissors. Pamela has no clue how to escape and surrenders instead.

Susan Denberg beats Chris Noel
Last time I called Susan Denberg unheralded. That is because even at 8-0 she is under the radar as far as anyone suggesting she is among the elite fighters. Don’t be surprised when she beats up some of the prima donnas in this tournament. Chris Noel has a good record but she is no prima donna. She fights hard and will give anyone a good fight. She will give Susan a good fight but not quite good enough..

Joanna Lumley beats Suzy Kendall
Joanna Lumley and Suzy Kendall have equal records but they are  not equal fighters. Joanna has too much skill for Suzy. The much smaller Suzy can’t overpower Joanna like some previous rivals have done Agnetha Faltskog did. Instead it is Joanna who flexes her muscles with her bicep right in Suzy’s face with a powerful headlock.

Glamour Fights took his expert status into another level by being the only one picking Susan Denberg and Ornella Muti suffering their first defeats of the competition!

Thx for all the votes and comments  :)

Linda Harrison (52) vs Margot Kidder (35)
There wasn't another slip-up for Linda allthough Margot put up one of her more challenging performances probably based on matching the fellow brunette in the physical department. However Lidna was more determined to take the victory and forced Margot into submission after a barrage of punches met no responce.

Cheryl Ladd (50) vs Sonia Braga (37)
Still not much luck for the fiery Brazilian as Sonia Braga had to swallow a very bitter pill losing to a blue-eyed blonde Cheryl Ladd, one person all the brunettes would hate to lose. Some experts had the proper knowledge of how comfortable Cheryl would be tossing Sonia around by the hair and in the end she literally kicked her into exhaustion in a manner Sonia had hoped to produce herself but wasn't able to.

Valerie Leon (37) vs Carol Lynley (47)
Carol Lynley proved she's as much angry over fellow blondes as well as tall brunettes and after Debbie Harry, she adapted the hairpulling tactics against Valerie Leon who despite her brave efforts to match the blonde's aggression, just couldn't take it in the end and gave up after a long and vicious fight with a very sore scalp. No need to say Carol was feeling anything but sore after her ninth consecutive victory!

Sondra Locke (40) vs Edina Ronay (44)
Two slender built blondes also produced a very vicious fight but Edina just managed to knock Sondra down on the floor after both women struggled for supremacy for most of their contest. Sondra put up one of her best showings against an physically matching opponent but couldn't avoid getting pinned by the more skilled Edina, whose record has improved after some early beatdowns she'd suffered at the hands of much bigger women.

Jacqueline Bisset (32) vs Christie Brinkley (54)
Unanimous decision by the experts was accepted by Christie's big smile as she smacked Jacqueline all over the beach before finally dumping the semi-conscious brunette into the water sea which brough little comfort though. The margin of victory wasn't as big as perhaps could have been, but Christie was rushed to another Sports Illustrated shoot and didn't want to waste more time in order to gain the biggest beatdown of this round.

Ingrid Steeger (44) vs Pamela Tiffin (38)
The fourth straight blonde-brunette fight which went in favour of the fair-haired woman. This was a classic example of a smaller but quicker girl literally wearing the taller but slower opponent into sheer exhaustion and knocking her out in the end. Pamela failed to bring any momentum from beating Linda Harrison and allowed Ingrid Steeger to pummel her like a cheap rag doll before finally going down under the blonde's aggression and agility. Despite this not being Pamela's biggest loss, it almost certainly was the most embarrassing one given the petite nature of her rival.

Susan Denberg (41) vs Chris Noel (42)
One of two fights in this round decided by a single vote witnessed Susan Denberg lose her unbeaten status to fellow blonde Chris Noel. Only Glamour Fights has the correct insight on this one and looks like Susan has shown a great deal of vulnerability in a classic hairpulling slugfest with Chris. Lots of blonde hair scattered the floor which was a great shame indeed for all the blonde lovers, but Chris didn't care about that unless she was losing them more then her foe. But in the end it was Susan who crumbled on her knees and couldn't take the hairpulling anymore taping out in pain which Chris merrily accepted. Perhaps this will be a telling story for Susan's forthcoming rivals now that she's suffered her first defeat.

Joanna Lumley (42) vs Suzy Kendall (44)
Another blonde duell that went right down to the wire splitting the experts in the proccess as well. Looks like Suzy's boots made the ultimate difference as her kicks proved to soften Joanna more then the Avenger's slaps. Joanna could have thought of Suzy as a weak blonde very prone to get knocked dizzy by a few punches, but Suzy's resistance has improved over the last rounds and in the end it was the model kicking her way into a narrow victory. One of the kicks caught Joanna in the groin and limited her movement and more blows from Suzy made Joanna lose all the early advantage and fall down into yeat another painful loss.
