I think there's a misunderstanding here again. A catfight and a fight are two different things. A catfight exists in fantasy and videos, but in real life it's rare, and I'm not sure anyone would talk about it. And there's nothing unusual about discussing a fight.

When I was a teenager, I had to fight with other girls. The fights happened quite often, and they were hotly discussed at school and in the yard.
But they were just fights; no one ripped off anyone's clothes or rubbed their private parts against each other  :o
