film/movie ?

What film/movie do you consider has the most realistic catfight?

From Russia with Love is probably the most famous.

There is a catfight in the film The Elephant Man. It is quite a short scene, between two mature women. Both women have badly cut faces. Very realistic, with one woman crying at the end.

Malena (2000)

Starring Monica Bellucci as Malena.

Malèna is a 2000 historical romantic drama film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore from a story by Luciano Vincenzoni. It stars Monica Bellucci and Giuseppe Sulfaro.

A teenage boy named Renato becomes obsessed with the beautiful and sensual Malèna, who is the most desired young woman in town. Her husband is in the armed forces fighting the British in Africa, and she lives alone. Because of her beauty and solitary status, she is an object of lust for all the town's men and of hatred for its women.

When the Nazis take over this Italian town, and Malena finds herself penniless, she prostitutes herself to the Nazis.

When the Germans eventually leave, the town's women storm the hotel and drag out Malèna, ripping off her clothes, beating her to a bloody pulp and cutting off her hair.

I'm really not into seeing a girl get beaten to a bloody pulp like that, but it is 100% realistic... no doubt...

It's available on Amazon and Netflix.

Like, actually realistic? Probably Mean Girls. They hate each other, but it stays social/verbal/emotional.

By far, the best movie catfight is in THE GEISHA.  It is close to 5 minutes long, and there are only two! two! two! edits in the entire thing.  (Most movie fights, male or female, will have a half dozen edits per minute)

And it is not some choreographed martial arts chop and sock fight.  It's a true close in desperate catfight.  These two gals deserve an award for realism.

P.S. By comparison, The From Russia With Love catfight is 52 seconds long and has 18 edits.

Thank you so much for posting that one, rin753. The bare feet (of one of the women) got me aroused.  ;D

FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE became a classic because of the ferocity shown by the two "gypsies" (Aliza Gur and Martine Beswick), and by the passion their acting and nude legs and feet conveyed. The fight choreography was good, but utterly destroyed by the 18 editing cuts already mentioned. Back in 1963, there were not many color pics on the big screen showing as much, but unfortunately, the producers were after a PG rating to enlarge their box office.

Ten years later, in 1973, Terence Young, the director of FRWL, had more free hand with the Franco-Italian co-production based on the lusty novel (ah! that Corgi pocket book I bought by 50 cents at a sales bookshop!) THE AMAZONS. Besides several other topics of interest, the two fights are terrific, and again with good choreography and much less editing cuts. The ritual combat for the title of queen, won by blonde Alena Johnson, and the murder attempt alone in the queen tent, won by the brunette Sabine Sun are both memorable, mainly the second, of which there are two versions: one topless for the prude markets, and one (dark room lighted by rays and lightning from a thunderstorm) nude and a hot lesbian full body press and kiss to end it. Is it realistic? I want to keep believing it is. (LOL)

I disagree with MALENA being a fight. It is a group beating on one woman, which is not erotic in my film fights category.

THE GEISHA is decididly a realistic fight, and a proof that the female eroticism from a fight does not require them being nude or almost, to get our attention. Whera others see a naked foot, I see a delicate yet fleshy leg and thigh! (LOL)

I never heard or read about a women's fight in the drama THE ELEPHANT MAN, and what I supçpose if the full original version [https://m.ok.ru/video/9291155311310] does not seem to have one. Could anyone tell how to get at it, please?

I've always enjoyed the catfight in the movie "Who Dares Wins" (circa 1982, released in the USA as "The final option") It's a pretty real looking fight, and filmed by the actual actresses rather than stunt women stand ins.

About what is realistic or not in a beach fight, compare Russ Meyer's scene in the classic FASTER PUSSYCAT, KILL, KILL, KILL! and this scene from a Japanese movie - possibly titled Zoku-zoku Kindan no suna: Akai pantsu (1959), literally Forbidden Sands Continuation: Red Pants, distributed in the USA as Woman Diver's Beach: Red Pants  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4DFFa6lN2k&t=11s

I was entranced by the Russ Meyer's movie, but when saw I saw this Japanese movie, I changed my opinion.

Thank you so much posting this. I can do without the baby, men, gun shooting, explosion stuff, etc,...but I absolutely love the woman in the white long sleave shirt (my favorite type of clothing of a catfight). I just wish her white shirt got ripped.

Very nice one, especially showing how the loss affected the loser girl
