That is an excellent example of a counter to the weight example. This was Helen’s first appearance at Festelle and the experienced Susan beat her with a very early leg scissors too painful for Helen, resulting in in a submission. The match saw Susan enjoy the upper hand although Helen’s resistance only allowed her one more score, the match finishing 2-0. After an experience like that many first timers might quit, surprised it was not just a roll around, but Helen went on to have many matches.
Where possible it is better to see two novices matched against each other and it can be a very close affair decided by who is the most aggressive.
