Sorry if I am missing something obvious, but how do I hide my email address on my profile?

I think it is by default. It showed as hidden when I looked as an ordinary member.
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.
Once the cyberfighter slop is removed from the site, things will improve
When i tell you an admin issue discussion is done don't presume to continue to argue and expect me not to ban your dumb ass.
