Thanks for working on all of these issues. I can't seem to find the views a post has got. Are they gone or have they been moved somewhere?

No forum lasts forever, set in stone for eternity. It took me a few visits to adjust my usage to the (new) features. That's why I can't yet identify or point out any weaknesses that need to be addressed.

yes there is no place for that on mobile to display that nicely. Shows fine in desktop mode

So from what I can tell, if you go to Look and layout (clicking on the profile button upper right). From there, hit "change" by current theme and choose green variant on board default or elementary theme. Hit use. This seems to make it a permanent thing.
