Among my favorite wrestlers are those whose athletic bodies, size or experience should make them formidable, but who tend to lose a lot.  It’s extra humiliating.  Some examples:

Vira – Vira’s Apartment Fights

Any other examples?  Any explanations for why these women underachieve?

I was never a big fan of Karen as a wrestler, Ofecteau.  She was like Kym Jane: beautiful, lethargic, pathetic, just not credible.  For me, the minimum level of effort required in erotic wrestling is defined by Shayna.  She didn’t make grappling a big part of her life, but she tried hard enough to put her ego on the line.  If there’s no hope of winning, not even any interest in it, then the victim’s loss has no meaning.

  Karen was the epitome of "beautiful loser".  She couldn't wrestle a lick, but I didn't care, and neither did her opponents-apparently they ALL wanted to kick her ass, because all the girls back then were hot, slightly cocky, and not always best buddies.

  Little known fact that will make your heads explode: Academy Bruce was introduced to her by the bartender at the strip club he used to recruit the ladies from.  She was one of his ex-girlfriends...as was Bobbie Boudreau!  Lucky SOB.

  Their match (ACA 75?) is a favorite of mine, but as imagined, Karen didn't pose much of a threat to "The Bobcat".  Match ends with an outclassed Karen pinned flat and Bobble licking her hard nipples.

  "John, its another aspect of the spectrum that truly leaves  me cold and uninterested and shaking my head. I have never really been able to understand the attraction of performers like Dia Zerva or Ariel X, or what Robin is featuring these days. To me, these performers and their style of fighting are really in a sort of "no man's land."

    

  The attraction is you don't have to put in the work of training them.  That's why you see the same 3 or 4 girls in every video company.  Also, don't count out the lack of a man's perspective in shooting porn for men.

I would never describe Kym Jane as "lethargic" On the contrary, what characterises her performances, for me, is the sheer energy she puts into them. She always gives the impression of a girl fighting desperately hard, if not to win, then at least to stave off defeat for as long as she possibly can.
I'm sure Kym enjoys the feeling of being totally helpless in the hands of another woman, and her high energy style, fighting herself into complete exhaustion, is one way of achieving it. I can understand how this might not appeal to someone who needs to know that both combatants are actually trying to WIN in order to enjoy the outcome of a match, but Kym is no "jobber"
She has the most expressive face of any female fighter I've seen, and the visible signs of arousal she  displays as the fight progresses - stiffly erect nipples and swollen vulva - testify to the fact that the emotions you see on her face are no act. Kym LIVES the role.
Bear in mind too, that she has four victories on her record to date, and on those occasions when Kyms mood and the right opponent coincide, she makes a great dominatrix, aggressive and ruthless as you like.

I'm pleased to report that this weeks update at academywrestling is a match between Kym Jane and Jasmine Chou. I heard about this one through the site's forum when it was scheduled last year, and at the time I thought it sounded like a sure-fire win for Kym.
Why? Well, Jasmine has more defeats (34) than any girl on the academy roster. Kym is bigger, younger, faster, and had never lost to an asian girl before. Three of her four victories were over asian chicks and she seemed to really enjoy defeating and dominating them.
Yeah, Kym had all the advantages and should have beaten Jasmine handily.
Guess what ... she loses!
