Joanne's Revenge

Joanne makes a mess out of Bill

Joanne Simpson was not having a good day. It all started when her
coffeemaker went on the fritz that morning. One of the few indulgences
she allowed herself was two cups of decaf coffee every morning. Then
when she left home to go to work, rain was pouring down in sheets.
Joanne was now a sales representative for Martin Pharmaceuticals. Her
job consisted on calling on doctors and hospitals to promote her
company's products. She had become the number one sales rep in the
region in the last three months. Today, however, none of the key
physicians or hospital personnel that she needed to see had been
available. At three o'clock in the afternoon Joanne stopped to check her
voice mail. One of the messages made what she considered the perfect
ending to the day. One of her sales associates had left a message for
that was very disturbing. Apparently, Bill Duggan, the rep that she had
replaced as number one in the region, was spreading the rumor that her
success could be attributed to the fact that Joanne was sleeping with
many of her key customers in order to get them to use her products.
After taking a few minutes to try to calm down, Joanne decided to call
it a day as far as work was concerned, and go to the gym for a workout.

Most people didn't realize that only a few years ago, Joanne was
considered to be a lock for the U.S. Olympic team as a javelin thrower.
A knee injury had ended her career prematurely, but she still loved the
feeling of power she got from working our hard in the gym. In fact,
several of her friends were trying to convince her to enter bodybuilding
contests, since in reality, she seemed to be more muscular than many of
the contestants even at the national level. As she worked with the
weights she tried to decide what she should do about Bill Duggan and his
false accusations. It was obvious that jealousy over having been
replaced as the top rep in the region was behind everything. Joanne
began to formulate a plan, as she finished her workout. Before stepping
into the shower, she paused briefly in front of a mirror. What she saw,
was a very attractive woman, standing 5'9" tall, and weighing 156
pounds. Long auburn hair encased a beautiful face with a trace of
freckles sprinkled across her nose. Piercing green eyes looked back at
her from the mirror. Broad melon-capped shoulders tapered to a thin
washboard waist. When she flexed, her biceps exploded to 17 inches. 25
inch quads and 17 inch calves completed the picture. Her quick moment of
vanity passed and Joanne rushed into the shower, dressed, and headed
home.

After considering all of her options, Joanne decided her best course of
action was to try to find an opportune time at the upcoming sales
meeting to confront Bill and get him to set the record straight. As one
of the perks for being number one, she had a suite in the hotel for the
meeting. She reserved it on her own for one extra night after the
meeting. Joanne planned to ask Bill to come to her suite after the
meeting to try to find a solution to their problem.

The meeting proceeded without a hitch. At a dinner the last night Joanne
was recognized for her accomplishments. After the dinner most of the
sales reps stopped in the bar. From the back, Joanne again heard a
comment about "some people will do anything to get business" from Bill.
She approached him and quietly suggested that he stop by her suite after
the meeting adjourned. Bill, thinking that Joanne was smitten with him,
readily agreed. Joanne wasn't sure what was going to happen, but she was
determined that one way or the other, Bill's lies were going to stop.
She was so angry by now, that she would even welcome a physical
confrontation. Bill was an ex-college football player, but at 6 feet
even, and 190 pounds, he was about 15 pounds overweight. he had quit
exercising some years ago and drank and smoked to excess. Joanne had
never been in a fight in her life, but in her state of mind, she found
herself thinking that might be the only way to get Bill to stop the
rumors and apologize.

As the meeting wound down, Joanne had trouble concentrating. Finally it
was over and everyone made a dash for the airport. Joanne went back to
her suite. It was a typical suite in a hotel chain that catered to
business travelers. It consisted of a bedroom with a king-sized bed, a
small kitchenette, and a fairly large living room. She changed out of
her business suit and slipped into a pair of shorts and a cut-off tank
top. This was covered up by a running suit that she had worn every
morning for her 3 mile run while at the meeting. Then in preparation for
what might happen, she moved some of the furniture back toward the
walls. As she finished there was a knock at the door.

Bill Duggan had arrived. He still was wearing his suit, but had removed
his tie. He stood there with a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the
other. As he entered the suite, he lost no time in telling Joanne
exactly why he thought he had been invited to join her. She explained
the situation and asked Bill to stop the lies and set the record
straight. He refused, saying he would only if she did for him what she
obviously did for her doctors. With that, he grabbed Joanne and tried to
kiss her. As they struggled, Bill slapped her while holding on to the
jacket of the running suit. Joanne staggered backward and the jacket
ripped, exposing her powerful body to Bill for the first time. He stood
there in amazement for a split second. He said, "Well, a little girl
weightlifter. this is going to be even more fun than I thought". With
that he threw a punch at her jaw. Her quick athlete's reflexes saved
her, but even then his fist grazed her face. Bill, thinking the punch
had done more damage than it had wound up for a big roundhouse right.
This time Joanne was ready. She ducked allowing Bill's fist to pass over
her head. While he was fully extended from his missed punch, Joanne
decided it was time to fight back. She turned her body into the punch,
bringing her right fist up almost from the floor driven by the awesome
power of her legs and hips as well as her upper body. Her fist ripped
into his belly, lifting Bill off the floor. He seemed to be held in the
air, balanced on her fist before he crashed to the carpet and rolled
into a ball, clutching his stomach.

Joanne, hindered by the remnants of the running suit paused to totally
remove it. Bill slowly got to his knees, then to his feet. Lucky punch,
he wheezed, still unable to catch his breath. Joanne said nothing, she
just watched him. Bill fired a left hook at her head. This time Joanne
blocked it with her right arm. She then quickly slammed a left hook of
her own into Bill's eye. It immediately started to discolor and swell.
it would be closed in just a few minutes. Bill staggered back. Joanne's
right fist now crashed into his left eye. Bill hit the floor again. His
left eye looked even worse than his right eye. Joanne reached down and
pulled Bill to his feet by his shirt. When she released her hold, Bill
wobbled around in front of her. Her left smashed into his nose, the loud
pop indicating it had been broken. He started to fall again but Joanne
reached out and held him up. She then drove 3 vicious, ripping punches
into his already tender gut. Bill slid to his knees, then started to
vomit on the carpet of the suite. Joanne gathered up her suitcases and
took them over near the door, while Bill rolled around and moaned on the
floor. When she was finished, she walked back over to where Bill was and
hauled him to his feet again. "This suite is paid for tonight. So you
might as well sleep here. Before you get your sleeping pill, I want you
to understand one thing. If you haven't corrected this situation by
Monday, we will go through this all over again until you do."  With
that, Joanne looked at her victim with contempt. Both eyes were now a
purple-black color and swollen almost completely shut. His nose was
flattened and blood was still seeping blood. She couldn't resist driving
her powerful fist into his battered stomach one more time. This time it
seemed to disappear almost to the wrist into his belly. As Bill started
to collapse, Joanne caught him one last time. She positioned him just
where she wanted him. She then flexed her pumped up biceps in some sort
of victory pose. Then she cocked her big right fist one last time. It
started from way back and gathered speed as it flew toward his jaw. Her
fist exploded on his jaw. Bill was lifted up into the air by this mighty
blow and sailed on to the sofa. From there he slowly slid down to the
floor and remained motionless. Joanne took one last look at his almost
unrecognizable face, dropped the key to the suite on his chest, and
slowly picked up her things and walked out the door.

The End
