Yes went and saw recent Conjuring Last Rites. It does get intense.
Now here is the thing about that.
In the late 80's or early 90's. There was also a movie made about this.
The Haunted starring Sally Kirkland.
Re-watched that, and now wondering. Which one closer to the real facts.
According to Conjuring the Smurl family stayed in the home for years no more problems.
Haunted they moved, still had problems, until Catholic church did an exorcism.
Outside of the Amityville horror. This was one of or maybe the most ever publicized haunting. Including national news.
So maybe watch them both, decide for yourself.
Either way, some good stuff to have to watch during Oct and Halloween season!
One fact always thought was impressive. SO many witnesses outside of the family.
