Geri Haliwell walked right into the restaurant, went straight to the bar and leaned against it watching the door. Shania Twain came in and walked past the hostess counter and Geri couldn’t hold it in, she came at Shania “No more excuses…”
They jumped at each other slamming bodies and grabbing at hair, the two women wrestled around in circles until Shania wrestled Geri into one of the two person booths. Geri wrapped her hands around Shania’s throat and stepped up on the chrome footstep on the under part of the bar getting more leverage.
The air was quickly leaving the country singers lungs but Geri let go and stepped back down. “I want you to hurt more then that, I’ve waited so long to fight and beat you I’m going to enjoy this.”
Geri grabbed at Shania’s shirt and started to haul it over her head but Shania grabbed at Geri and lifted her up in the air and dumped her over the bar. Shania jumped on top of the bar then down to the floor where Geri was starting to get up.
Shania hit a double ax handle blow to Geri’s back putting her down to her stomach. Shania took some deep breaths then sat atop Geri’s back and put her into a camel clutch.
She reached as far back as she could go and let up then repeated the move. Geri would not scream her surrender though and reached backwards and grabbed at Shania’s long hair and pulled her to the left knocking the Canadian off her back and then rolled away but never got far as they were still behind the bar.
