Selena, eager to lose her reputation as a jobber, challenges her friend Samantha to a battle. Despite giving up some size Samantha readily accepts, knowing that she will benefit from battling a higher-profile girl. The fight starts out pretty evenly, but eventually Selena resorts to some pretty nasty moves to try to secure the win. Eventually Samantha loses her temper and her inhibitions against hurting her friend go out the window as she turns into a raging hellcat. The tables turn, and once she's on the receiving end Selena's fragile confidence crumbles. She's been on the wrong end of a beatdown once too often, and it's too easy for her to once again fall into a mentality of failure and surrender. In the end Selena's plan backfires badly as she's decisively beaten by a smaller and largely unregarded foe.
(And yeah, I know the voting isn't going that way right now, but that's still how I see it going down.)
