Black bars that appear in some videos apparently are not the result of poor equipment, but apparently from what I read it's cause the camera is HD. The screen can be stretched to be full screen, but the result is a distorted picture. When opening a video from download I've taken it to 80% of the screen and it's plenty big and clear. I've read where some videographers even try to put black bars on the screen to frame the video. Tons of articles if researched on Google. Maybe next time a little research is needed prior to the bull c..p thrown at a producer.
