Sorry, I promised I would get back to this but it’s been a hectic week. That and the fact that I keep my participation on this forum a secret from my wife, for a variety of reasons I won’t go into, meant I just couldn’t sit down at the keyboard and type whenever I wanted. Now, for the rest of the story…
The first fight of the evening (which I was invited to referee but declined), involved two older women, my guess in their mid-thirties. It reminded me of the types of women Crystal Films used in their matches. Attractive I guess but not to me. Both were heavily tattooed which I’m not a fan of (sorry if I offended anyone, it’s just my personal preference). There were obviously guests in attendance who were fans of each contestant, and I thought I was seeing two biker gang girls going at it. Accustomed to fighting they were, accustomed to boxing they were not. It was like each wanted to get rid of the pillows they were wearing and pick up a baseball bat and chain and go at each other. It was raw, brutal, amateurish, and for me not very entertaining. Perhaps I was too nervous about Nancy fighting to really watch. They were both topless and wore torn cutoff jean shorts. Both women’s breasts had sagged to the point that if they put a pencil underneath one of their tits it would’ve stayed there. I guess what I’m trying to say is that life is too short to watch ugly women fight. One gave the other a bloody nose that thrilled her fans, but at the end of the four rounds the referee just held up both their hands and they left the ring. There was no “draw” verdict, although the one whose nose wasn’t bleeding was clearly the winner.
I didn’t see the second fight but I met the fighters at the end of the evening and they were beautiful women about my wife’s age, though both lightweights I’d guess. Two brunettes with short hair it might have been difficult to tell who was who in the ring during the fight. From all accounts it was a great fight, going back and forth with each girl scoring a knockdown. It ended in the 5th with a knockout. One girl was knocked down and as soon as she started to get to her feet her opponent smacked her chin as soon as her glove left the canvas, putting her down for good. It was the loser’s first fight, and though unhappy with the ending and the big bruise on her sore jaw she was proud to have scored a knockdown.
I got back for the final two rounds of the last fight of the evening. Evidently this was for a championship of some sort though I didn’t get the details. The fighters were young, my guess both under 21, with one a dark brunette and the other a slightly taller blonde. Like all matches of the evening it was topless though both were no larger than B cup. (As a tit man I notice these things). Perhaps I should say also that even though this was a “championship” match, the quality of the fighting was no where near that of professional boxers. Though they had some training and could punch hard, most of the time their defense consisted of closing their eyes if they thought they were about to be hit. This backyard brawl style is very entertaining to watch. The brunette was giving her all, but the blonde was kicking the crap out of her. Beating her to the punch and with longer arms, the blonde had opened a big cut over her rival’s left eye which would’ve resulted in a professional fight stoppage. The brunette was also bleeding from a cut lip and her cornerman wasn’t very skilled at handling cuts. I was also shocked by the dirty fighting tactics used (and the crowd’s enthusiastic response). Grabbing an arm, holding and hitting, and breast maulings by both fighters. With the brunette not able to see out of her left eye, the blonde kept throwing rights at the her face until she went down. She made it up by 8 but was crying now and if the round hadn’t ended she most certainly would’ve been knocked out. This fight was judged and the blonde paraded around the ring with her hands up while the brunette sat dejectedly on her stool and wept.
Nancy took a shower and joined me ringside for the last round. She had changed back into her sweats (very short shorts with an open jacket, though now wearing strapped heels). She just put on a ribbed t-shirt with no bra and her headlights were very much in view! I liked what I saw but this was not the girl I married. The guests mingled for cocktails afterwards and Nancy received a lot of congratulations and well wishes. Judy tracked her down and offered her congratulations along with a check for her efforts. Then she chided her for not “punishing” Kera. “After all she did to you in your first meeting I’m surprised you let her off without making her bleed some.” Nancy just said she was focused on winning the fight. Then Judy asked Nancy if she would be interesting in fighting again, and Nancy said, “Sure!”
EPILOGUE: Tuesday after the fight Kera called Nancy, just to tell her there were no hard feelings and to apologize for her boyfriend. Apparently “miss perky” is a hard woman to keep down. I don’t think there will be any chance for a rematch of any type though, as things were pretty much settled last Saturday. During the conversation we learned some shocking things. The special rules for their fight, where Nancy had to fight topless and lacing was allowed, were both Judy’s idea! This was confirmed the following Wednesday when Johnny called me, also to apologize for his outbursts. He said the shock of seeing Kera take a beating was not what he expected. He said he was going to send me the video he took of Nancy as he figured she earned it back. He said when he showed the edited version to Judy, that’s when she suggested the rules. The video does make it appear that Kera was beating the crap out of her. I think Judy put in those rules so Nancy would take a beating for all to see. In short, I don’t think Judy is Nancy’s friend like she thinks she is, but I don’t know how to approach her about that yet.
But wait, there’s more. Nancy has been talking to the brunette who lost the last fight. They shared a dressing room in the pool house and exchanged phone numbers. She went to the doctor and will need surgery on her eye. Worse, from her view point, is that the doctor told her she wouldn’t be allowed to box for at least 8 months, and she’s worried she may lose her job. It seems another girl where she worked had a match where she quit, and a few weeks later she just wasn’t at work anymore. Her boss said she quit but she knows she liked her job and needed it, so now she’s afraid the same thing may happen to her. Also learned some other interesting details about Nancy’s boss. Mr. Big owns at least two more companies we did not know about. They are large manufacturing plants that employ a lot of women (200-300 apiece), and it is from these blue collar working women that almost all his fighters come from. Evidently they pit one factory worker against the opposing factory worker, starting a rivalry. (Nancy is the only fighter who wears high heels to work). The brunette who lost the fight is also very despondent because this was her third fight. The promise being that if you win 3 fights you will get invited on a trip to Dubai to box “internationally.” But the real draw is that on the way over you’ll spend 2-3 days in Paris, and the same coming back, as Mr. Big has an apartment there. The other bombshell we learned is that Mr. Big has virtually nothing to do with anything connected to the boxing matches, except to invite participants to watch. Judy runs the show, sets up the matches, and handles all the fighters.
So, now I’m more worried than ever. I don’t think Judy has my wife’s best interests in mind. To her she is just another pair of tits ready to throw in the ring. And I’m afraid at this point if my wife refuses to fight, her job may be in jeopardy. We’ve talked about some of these things, but my wife thinks I’m overreacting (I do tend to do that). Nancy is of course really excited about the way she won, and now thinks she can defeat Rousy if they just gave her a chance. I just hope this isn’t a setup where she really gets hurt.
