Anne Hathaway never liked Katie Holmes.
In the past they were both recognized as soft and easy to beat if they weren’t completely into a fight. Now only Katie had that reputation and Anne was an Oscar winner who fought and destroyed Katherine Heigl twice. The same Katherine Heigl who beat up Katie, once upon a time. Recently Anne and friend Emily Blunt had a technical back and forth with Anne barely winning.
Today Katie finally felt she and Anne should clear the air and the feeling was mutual as they were arranged a seatdown by their respective agencies. Both wanted to clear the air in hopefully a mature manner.
Their agents rented three basement offices and hired people to remove everything from the middle room and leave two chairs which would face each other. Anne got to the room she was told to enter and stayed there stalking around the room thinking of this. She had to admit to herself that Katie Holmes was someone she never actually liked and was what made it so much easier to make fun of Katie on SNL.
Katie was in her office, she felt like a trend setter. She never liked Anne and thought Anne was taking parts from her since Devil Wears Prada. After Anne got that role everything she chose was gold and everything KAtie did turned crap. They had long history and tried to get along but she just didn’t like Anne and thought of all the times they nearly got into a catfight when they were both in their 20s.
The time came and they opened their doors. One thing Anne prided herself in with her fights was that she took it as business and never personal but she had this urge right now to go and chest up to Katie. She fought the urge and sat down to talk to the lesser celebrity
Katie saw Anne and felt the need to slap her right then and there and slap her again and again. She took a deep breath and got her own seat “Anne it’s been a long time”
“It has.” She successfully fought the urge to make a digging comment “So you have problems with me and let’s face it since Princess Diaries you and I have always been on this line.”
“A line of mutual dislike yeah I know and agree with you on that. The first time we met we were both considered soft and were giving each other hard looks do you remember.”
“I do you pushed me and I pushed you and everyone ran and stopped us. We were both considered can’t miss actresses and they didn’t want us fighting.”
“But we did and the next time we saw each other we actually chested up to each other.”
“You chested up to me and I wasn’t backing down not to you. I remember that night vividly hoping you’d do something wondering if I should.”
“I didn’t want to be recognized as a bully and hoped you would start something but you were to afraid”
“Afraid of you, no one fears you Katie. I didn’t then and don’t now and it would have been me recognized as a bully because you were always a weak bitch.”
“We both lost more than we won back then but let me tell you if we fought the first time we met or if we fought the next time you know deep down that you would lose.”
“Believe whatever you want but that’s the past why are we here now or do you want to talk about 2006 when we had pictures taken together and what happened when we were actually alone. You acted like your relationship with Tom would always mean I’d be second fiddle to you and I should get used to it… Was that how it turned out?”
“You told me that being a man’s beard wasn’t how you always got ahead and that Prada would prove your talent over mine and talent would win out.”
“Which it did. You’re jealous of me and my talent, I surpass you at every level Katie so just admit it and I’ll stop picking on you and we’ll be good.”
Katie was mad, Anne was smug so Katie smiled “Jealous of you never… Maybe I should just go ahead and do what I should have done years ago and finally put you in your place.”
They both leaned forward on the edge of their chairs and stared wondering if the other would blink and back down but it wasn’t happening so Anne said “I dare you” With that Katie slapped her.
Anne gasped she couldn’t believe she was about to fight Katie Holmes it was always the woman she most wanted to fight and who she actually had fear of losing to. “What do you think of that Anne”
“I think you are going to get hurt if you don’t apo…” She slapped Anne again
“I’m sorry you’re a bitch.”
“You bitch” Anne leaped from her chair onto Katie knocking the chair down the two talented actresses who both appeared in Nolans batman trilogy wrestled on the fallen chair. They rolled away from each other and the chair and got up still in range of the other, Anne went for a slap which Katie ducked and countered to a takedown.
Anne got taken down but countered it into a flip and took the top position. Katie grabbed at the collar of Anne’s shirt and pulled the Oscar winner off.
They both got up to their feet and went after the other’s hair and thanks to having short hair it was easier for Anne to get a firm grip on Katie’s long locks. She threw Katie down and was on top of her hitting her head on the floor. “So long to do this.” Anne was intent on hurting Katie.
Katie finally got a grip on Anne’s hair and hauled her off. Anne was on her side and Katie sat on her ribs and started slapping the back of Anne’s head and her face. “I hate bitch fighting but for you I’ll make the exception.”
Anne blindly grabbed some of Katie’s hair and hauled down then slid underneath Katie and got up to her feet. Katie was getting up as well and had her back turned to Anne who grabbed her by the waist. Anne lifted Katie up in the air and slammed her down to her chest. Anne lifted her up and Katie grabbed at Anne’s wrists and separated them and then lifted Anne and her arms up in the air and swung them down flipping Hathaway onto her back.
After landing on her back she immediately jackknifed up so she was seating up and for that reflex move she was kicked in the back. Katie stayed behind Anne who had her elbow behind her arched back “Not enough”
Katie picked Anne up by grabbing two handfuls of hair, her fingernails scratching Annes scalp as she grabbed the hair. Katie ran and slammed Anne face first into the wall. Anne bounced off stumbled back a couple steps and fell to her back. Katie looked down at Anne who was covering her face and grabbed one of Anne’s arms and lifted her up to her feet
Katie punched Anne in the stomach and grabbed Anne by the hair again ad started running at the wall but Anne dropped and pushed Katie into the wall. It stunned Katie and Anne got up grabbed Katie by the hair and swung her a full 360 and threw her face first into the wall.
