I bought the latest release from Freshfite yesterday, FFV 121, Sammy vs Frankie, and, for a catfight fan like me, this match ticks all the right boxes.
Frankie is described as “a former friend” of Sammie who wanted to fight her to find out if she really is as tough as she now thinks she is. Well, the answer to that question becomes clear very quickly!
Frankie doesn’t have any grappling skills and Sammie doesn’t use hers till late in the match, nailing her tired opponent with a series of “inverted triangle” submissions. For the uninitiated, this move is kind of like a high school-girl pin with one leg locked in place beneath the pinned opponent’s neck.
Till then, it’s an out and out catfight – wrestling, hair-pulling, trash-talk, and even a couple of face slaps at one point. Like I said, it ticks all the boxes.
I also got another download for my money thanks to the buy one get one free offer Freshfite still have going. FFV108, Sammie vs Val is a submission grappling match, rather than what I would call a catfight. It’s a fast paced and very even contest, despite the 25lb weight advantage in Val’s favour.
