McCarthy punches very well. Her kicks aren't terrible either, but she doesn't seem to practice the kicks as much. Apparently, McCarthy did karate growing up. And as she explains in this video, her dad taught her boxing growing up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKJugtHv1EQ
