Hi
I spent the best part of a day this week messaging with a girl online who turned out to disappear very quickly when I asked her to voice verify with me. I was trying to arrange a rules cf with her and my fight girl Sam who has done a few fights irl. The 'woman' was a Bex Lawton who appeared on Facebook for a long time, but is clearly a man. I was suspicious anyway, but when you hear things like 'Oh, I've got to get a sim for my phone', 'I can't ring now, I'm at work' blah, blah, blah, the alarm bells start ringing. Although I have been there before, I found this one an incredibly frustrating experience. The chat room now seems to have turned into a meeting place for bi/lesbian women or guys into mixed. Oh for the days of people just wanting to see an honest catfight. There are a couple of 'females' on fcf whom I have chatted to for a while in the past, but who have yet to agree to voice verify. I won't name them, but I suspect I know why. Why do guys do this? I think it is very sad. It has got to the point where I don't believe a word people say online re. fighting, particularly 'women'. It cannot be that impossible to find an opponent for my girl, surely? We are still looking, so if anyone is interested - UK based - please message me. She can't travel, but if an opponent is able to, we can talk about setting something up. We insist on voice verification though. I wonder what others' experiences are.
