The Seven Wonders of the Catfight World: Number 6

1.   Cassie v. Emma (Bitchfight)

If punching isn’t your thing, but English accents, hairpulling and mental humiliation are, you need to witness the best catfight ever filmed in the British Isles.

Bitchfight is generally a tamer version of Crystal, and because of its ‘no punches’ stance , you won’t see many blitz matches by this producer.  However, when matches go longer, as they inevitably do with safer rules, the mental approach gives contests an extra dimension.

At the time of this fight, the busty midlander Emma was one of Bitchfight’s leading lights and her win record was as stacked as she was.   Then along came slender bad-girl Cassie with her sharp tongue, Liverpool accent, cheeky looks to camera… and a predilection for long drawn-out punishment.  We don’t know what was said before the fight, but the way the ladies go at each other from the get-go in this panties-only match suggests that there is clearly bad blood between them.

This fight is exceptional in the way that one of the fighters establishes early superiority and then uses it to taunt and humiliate her opponent for most of the fight.  If you ever want to see one woman completely destroy another one mentally, then this is the textbook example.  It plays with your emotions like no other catfight I have ever seen.  You feel pity for the woman on her knees, wiping away her tears and having her head yanked up and down as she is forced to nod in agreement to the taunting questions of her punisher.  At the same time, you desperately want to see this humiliation topped off by a resounding and unequivocal knockout finish which is clearly there for the taking.  Although the ending is unsatisfactory, the viewer is left in no doubt about which of these two women is the dominatrix.

Legendary catfight lives seem to be brief.  The winner of this fight went on to be roundly defeated in her next – and last - match.  The loser never fought again.  It’s a tough – and beautiful –business.
