I'm trying to post a picture in the Stories thread. I select "Additional Options"  Then I click on "Choose File" and click on the picture that I want to post.  The picture number shows up and it has about 170KB so it should fit.   So far, so good.  When I click on preview, the text is ok but the picture does not appear.  Is this normal?  Will it appear on the actual post?  Also, I would actually like the picture to appear in the middle of my story, not at the end.  I've seen threads in the FCF with pictures appearing in the middle and I would like to be able to do the same.  Your help would be much appreciated. thx

It's me again.  I'm going to do a test.  I'll attach a picture, and although it's not on the preview, I'll see if the actual post will show it.

Ha!  It's there.  So I know it works.  It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be.  Now if I could only obtain some help on how to place a picture in the middle of the text, my problem will be solved.

As far as having it appear in the middle of text, the best way i can think of is doing the Insert image function. Sadly it is a link not an actual picture attachment. If the picture in question is not online in some way, not sure what else to do there.

A lot of FCF members can post pics in the middle of their text.  I've seen some on the Polls and Stories threads.  I'll keep trying.

This might help:

The way pics normally work here is as a link. if you click insert image you get {img] [/img] except there should be a square bracket instead before the first img. I have to do it wrong so it will show the text 
Put the link between the two parts. So if it was www.megforrest.com it would be {img]www.megforrest.com[/img]


Also when in doubt do preview first to make sure it is working.

Thank you Meg.  I hadn't noticed the Insert Image icon.  I tried again but it does't always copy.  I used one of the pics on my profile and...
