A couple of years or so ago I found an old article somewhere on line about a group of women who fought each other in what they called garterbelt catfights. Both combatants would wear those old fashioned garterbelts and hose that women sometimes wore decades ago. Each woman would take the front straps of the garterbelt off her own hose and attach them to the front of the opponen't's hose, which would in effect keep them in close face to face body to body contact with no opportunity to turn away, and with very little way of defending themselves from the other's full frontal attack They would fight until one admitted defeat. I thought when I read it that it was probably some fantasy written by a male, and I still pretty much believe that today, but at the same time I do have to admit that the idea excites me. I've never owned such a garment and probably never will, but locking yourself together at close quarters like that would tend to make for a no defense, all offense, no mercy kind of fight.
