Pop star Katy Perry (30) is fed up with jokes about, and verbal jabs at, her coming from actress Lorraine Bracco (60) during press conferences and other public events.

She confronts Lorraine in a tweet perhaps not meant quite seriously but unmistakably indicating that she is no longer prepared to take her hidden insults lying down: '...That old lady needs to be armwrestled and put in her (little hiding) place!...'

To Katy's surprise, Lorraine takes up Katy's tweet as an actual matter in hand: '...Girl, be my (hardly special) guest at the upcoming TV show on Sunday! Woman or chicken, your choice...'

Katy, now furious at being made fun of again by the actress twice her age, unleashes a torrent of verbal retaliation on Facebook: '...and apart from the fact that you were already voted the ugliest girl in sixth grade, and have certainly anything but improved over the following half century or so, what do you gone by 'best before 1980' old hag think is going to happen? I'll break your arms at an armwrestling table, and one more word of your impudent prattle and I'll break your ribs, too!...'

Lorraine replies, amused and determined to continue ridiculing the singer: '...You seem so eloquent today - did your boyfriend help you with that? - I'll wrestle you any way you like, you poor little doll, let's see whose ribcage is going to cave in when I've got you wrapped in my arms...'

Katy finally makes it clear she is determined to destroy and humiliate Lorraine on a wrestling mat: '...You pathetic Once-Wanted-To-Be, jealous that your boyfriend days are gone since long? I'll make you shut your mouth on that wrestling mat for the little remainder of your days...'

Lorraine, self confident where her looks are concerned, doesn't hesitate to brag about them: '...I look better than you even now and always have done. I'm a woman and you're an inflatable doll in comparison, admit it before you totally embarrass yourself!...'

Katy doesn't reply to Lorraine's final insult but appears on the show just as Lorraine has dared her to do, ready to teach the actress a lesson in humility...

A great match-up. Always exciting to fantasize about a mature, experienced woman against a younger rival. This one is really close to call, imho. I see Lorraine winning arm wrestling and Katy winning the main event on the mat. I don't think it would be over too quickly, more of a back-and-forth exhausting  fight, with both women having their moments, until Katy finally locks on a finishing submission move.
